Dear LEGO
Yee wilfully create Straw Men. You already know that all of us at OLO consider "[narcissistic]...young, smart, rich, educated, and talented celebrity people" are scum. Winston Churchill (half American...) was all of those things, wasn't he? http://www.quora.com/Was-Winston-Churchill-a-flawed-hero Cheers Posted by plantagenet, Monday, 12 August 2019 9:24:11 PM

This debate in reality, expresses a need for a politically sober view of religious intollerence. All of your criticisms of Islam, could easily be applied to Jews, Christians, Buddhists in Burma, and onwards. Most of your argument against Islam is misguided. Right from the start, I'm a firm believer that Multiculturalism for "Joe ordinary citizen", is a failure. It is confronting on too many levels (which I won't add here), to our own indigenous English culture, by offering special privileges to favoured foreign ethnicities, who assemble themselves in tight diasporas groups, forcing relocation on original inhabitants who are expected to accommodate the strangeness of the intruders. But your argument wanders far away from anti-multiculturalism, when you pick-off these ethnic groups with an argument against them, based on religious intollerence; which is the centre plank of your reasoning. I base my thinking and opinion on religious tollerence, and seperate it from the multicultural debate. Otherwise we end up with a right to argue with the voice of anti-semitism, for one obvious high profile topic. It's the point your reasoning misunderstands. RIGHTWING EXTREMISM IN US, AUSTRALIA & NZ
An August 13, 2019 article reports http://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-08-13/national-counterterrorism-centre-warns-on-right-wing-terrorism/11407164 "The world has witnessed a number of right-wing extremist attacks this year, and a former director of America's National Counterterrorism Centre fears there will be more. ....Nick Rasmussen, who served under both Barack Obama and current President Donald Trump, has warned that right-wing extremism is becoming more prevalent. "It is certainly the experience we are having in the United States right now and there are signs that this is happening in other countries," he told AM. "Individuals who share these views, whether they are tied to white supremacy or anti-Semitism or some other hate-based ideology, are finding each other across the globe." Mr Rasmussen...said the threat of right-wing extremist attacks was just as high as the threat of an attack by Islamic extremists. ...ASIO boss Duncan Lewis has previously confirmed that intelligence agencies are keeping an eye on right-wing extremism in Australia. Asked about the threat during Senate Estimates in October last year, Mr Lewis said the problem was "coming off a very low base" but certainly re-emerging. "I wouldn't say that it's a lot worse; they're probably a little bit better organised than they have been in the past, but we are monitoring this very, very closely," Mr Lewis said. Mr Rasmussen said it was hard to judge the potential volume of right-wing terrorists in Australia, but pointed to what he described as a critical difference with the US. "Australia has managed its gun control concerns much more effectively than the United States has, in my opinion," he said. "Individuals who are so motivated in the United States don't have much difficulty in acquiring high powered weapons of war and thus they can inflict horrible violence in a brief period of time."... ______________________________________________________________ Inspired by "New Zealand mass shooting reignites debates on what constitutes a 'lone wolf' terrorist attack" March 20, 2019 http://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-03-20/lone-wolf-terrorists-are-not-always-ideologically-alone/10911606 People used to join extremist clubs eg. Hitler's Brownshirts or the Klan. Nowadays lone wolves won't go to meetings, but be inspired by social media, particularly extremist websites. To Diver Dan.
Your premise appears to be, that religious tolerance must be absolute. That sort of dumb thinking brought about the Tokyo Sarin gas attack where 6000 Japanese were gassed, 60 died, and a couple of hundred more blinded for life. The evidence was all there in plain view that the Aum cult was extremely dangerous but the Japanese police did absolutely nothing. That was because in Japan, traditionally, the Japanese police has always steered clear of religious matters. And in Japan, tradition is important. In the USA, relatives of the people brainwashed by the "Reverend" Jimmy Jones appealed to the US government to do something about his religious movement which they had direct evidence was starving, beating, and sexually molesting it's members. It was because a small group of US Congressmen were concerned enough to put aside the usual warnings about religious freedom, and brave enough to take the warnings seriously and investigate, that Jones forced his followers to committed mass suicide by drinking poisoned Kool Aid. Tolerance towards religions depends upon the concept that the religions simply preach good moral values which helps create social stability, and is comforting to many people. But this good principle must be re examined when confronted by religions who seek to expand through violence, seek to overthrow the state and enforce religious laws, create social instability and division, and propose the adoption of their own uncivilised moral values which are diametrically opposed to that of the civilised societies they wish to join. The objective reality is that any religion which claims that women must conform to their concept of modesty and if they don't, they deserve to be raped, and if they are raped, it is all their own fault, is not the sort of religion we want in Australia. So too, Any religion that declares that apostates and homosexuals must be killed, that encourages it's followers to murder it's critics, declares democracy against it's principles, and believes in female genital mutilation, child brides, terrorism, and honour killings, should never have been allowed to immigrate into this peaceful and civilised land. Well, I suppose it's good that it's an actual crime and not a false flag hoax given the rise of victimhood culture;
Or is it? Maybe not who knows. There's a common occurrence of anti-semitic hate crime hoaxes; - Often spraying Nazi symbols around and blaming it on others to claim victimhood. http://youtu.be/09QfugvCf9I Posted by Armchair Critic, Tuesday, 13 August 2019 8:47:06 AM

I respond to posts when I have the time and I feel like it. It does not surprise me that you have another delusion that I am an American. You blokes get off on conspiracy theories, and trying to find something sinister, somewhere.
Now, on the subject of "white power movements" (whatever they are), could you please submit any quote from any identifiable "white power movement" in the USA or anywhere else, which instructs it's members to mass murder Muslims? You can't do that because nothing exists.
There does exist, however, the Koran and the Hadiths which directly instructs Muslims to kill, decapitate, crucify, and seriously disfigure non Muslims, especially pagans and Idol worshippers. And some of them are enthusiastically doing just as their God and Prophet has instructed. But you can't see anything wrong with the religion? Wow. You sure aren't looking very hard, are you? You would make a good Muslim, Plantagenet. All you need to do is BELIEVE and it answers everything.
Another very bad thing about the importation into western societies of this backward and dangerous death cult is the social division it is creating. Prior to large scale Islamic immigration into the west, almost all westerners knew nothing of Islam and were prepared to give this "religion" a fair go. But familiarity with this death cult has forced western people to come to terms with the fact that they have introduced a cancer into their own society. Of course, people like you and DD will never recognise it until you send your daughters to a Aria Grande concert one night and they come home either gang raped or in body bags.
The reason for your ability to completely ignore reality is simply narcissism. You have been convinced that the young, smart, rich, educated, and talented celebrity people that you admire so much and aspire to be considered a part of, believe in multiculturalism, and that is that. No need to apply objective thinking or reasoned logic. Who needs facts when delusions will suffice?
