Yes AC, it was Crowdstrike who claimed the DNC server was hacked by the Russians. As far as I know, Crowdstrike are the only people who've been allowed to check that computer and all claims by the FBI etc that it was the Russians who did it are based on the Crowdstrike report!!

Crowdstrike also asserted at one point that the Russians had hacked a Ukrainian artillery app causing significant damage. That claim has been comprehensively debunked.

Crowdstrike has close associations with the Clinton campaign, which explains why they were given privileged access to the server. If you wanted to blame the hack on the Russians and hide evidence that it was an inside whistle-blower, then who better to get than an organisation predisposed to supporting your desires who already had form in preemptively blaming the Russians?
