The Liberals are notorious for their fixations with
having surpluses. Hence their cuts to services and
their support for the big end of town. Labor then
has to come in and fix the mess that's left behind.
And so the cycle goes. That's what history tells
us. Perhaps you should get over your fear of academia
and do a bit more research. You just may learn something.

It's not a fear of academics, it's a case of being sick & tired of those so-called academics who are of no value to us yet deny many a decent day to day existence. I don't actually like using the
term academics but that's what the useless educated describe themselves as. You know those with a BA but nothing else. I prefer calling them bureaudroids with maggot genes. Perhaps you can coin a term to suit ?
