A beacon of hope: the Universal Declaration of Human Rights turns 70 : Comments

By Patricia Jenkings, published 12/12/2018

The Declaration empowers not just human rights advocates like myself, but all of us and we need to stand up for our rights and the rights of all peoples, both at home and abroad.

The UN needed to stick with it's core purpose of preventing war and because it didn't it lost it's way. Standard Project Creep. Many of the ideals set out in the UDHR appear useful- it seems to contradict the CCPR at some levels- however the UN has become politicized and has lost the moral high ground- the UDHR can't save the UN- it was a tack on addendum. Because the UN didn't stick to it's core purpose it has jeopardized world peace- it's lost the trust of the world. The UN has become a centre of instability in the world and needs to be disbanded.

Hey Galen,
Welcome to the forum.

You know what the problem is?

By the time the people realise it's time for rocks and torches it will be pointless anyway because by then the country will have already been well and truly sold down the river LONG AGO by those smiling bastards who claim to represent our best interests.

Sadly, the Climate, Migration and Political Correctness agendas have already taken this country's future out of Australian hands.

Foreign troops have supposedly entered France to shut down the Yellow Vest movement.

They are doing this under whats known as 'Kigali Principles'.

The Kigali Principles on the Protection of Civilians are a non-binding set of eighteen (18) pledges for the effective and thorough implementation of the protection of civilians in UN peacekeeping. The principles on the Protection of Civilians emanated from the High-level International Conference on the Protection of Civilians held in Rwanda on 28-29 May 2015.

11. To seek to enhance the arrangements for rapid deployment, including by supporting a full review of the UN’s standby arrangements, exploring a system in which earmarked units from troop and police contributing countries could be placed in readiness in order to ensure rapid troop deployment, and encouraging the utilis
ation of partnerships with regional organisations such as the African Union and its RECs.

What this basically means is 'Insurance Against Resistance To Globalism'.

If any nations citizens decides to fight back against globalist polices and tries to take matters into their own hands to restore their sovereignty, signatory states will send troops to shut any resistance down.

Can anyone please point to the scumbags responsible for stealing my country out from under my feet?

Sorry meant to add this one too.

"8. Not to hesitate to take action to protect civilians, in accordance with the rules of engagement, in the absence of an effective host government response or demonstrated willingness to carry out its responsibilities to protect civilians."

My goodness Patrica, I am sorry to inform you but the UNHCR as a UN
body is defunct. It is now managed and controlled by countries that
have not even signed the UN Human Rights Declaration, Treaty or
whatever it is called.
Not sure who is chair of the UNHCR at present, but recently it was
Saudi Arabia.
Frankly a person with diminished mental ability such as yourself,
check with the UNHCR people, they will explain the sharia limitations
on women, you should not really try to explain the UNHCR to men.

The UNHCR has become a standing joke, but as the joke is politically
incorrect we cannot even explain it to you.

Sorry if all that offends you but please put on a tantrum if you wish.
