The IAAF decision to limit female testosterone levels for certain female track events is stupid : Comments
By Chris Lewis, published 25/5/2018The focus on certain events is ridiculous given that testosterone helps all events that rely greatly on muscular power.

Could it be because transgender males who identify as females would have a big advantage if not changed?

Fabulous! For less than one per cent of the population who think they are something else the rest of us have to change?
This nonsense shows how malleable we have become. A six foot bloke says I am a woman and I want to play women's sport and we all play along. How pathetic this is. Lets play along then, any man who "Identifies" as a woman can play women's sports and use their showers and toilets. I just hope you bigots do not start using terms like "Pevert" or "Predator". FH Al, how do you come up with these stories? That's not a bad one for today.

This rule is not stupid at all. It has been created to prevent the new phenomenon of male athletes having sex change operations for the purpose of winning medals as females. One world renowned female boxer who fought such a "female" was so outclassed she was quickly out,and said later that the punch that floored her was like being "hit by a brick wall."
Males are stronger than females. Any male who has a sex change operation in order to compete against women in sports involving physical strength is obviously going to have an unfair advantage over real females. This author seems to be another PC (Progressive Conservative) pushing the LBTUDJNABXUTIRM barrow, who thinks that an insignificant minority tail should wag the majority dog. Hey Chris, Sweden just printed 4.7 million leaflets that it wants to distribute to every household warning it's own people to store up food in case of a war. What war might that be Chris? Maybe they just figured out that their insane immigration policies are going to cause a civil war between Swedes and their Muslim and North African welfare "refugees"? Just like us "racists" predicted for decades. While you waste your brain power on this triviality, the civilisation you hate but choose to live in is under real threat. You had better stop droning on about gay rights because it is getting time to choose sides, Chris. And if the Muzzies win, you and your homosexual friends won't have to worry about gay rights. You will be too busy worrying about when you are going to be chucked off tall buildings. Posted by LEGO, Saturday, 26 May 2018 7:46:26 AM

FH Diver, I have a prodigious memory, both a boon and a curse. As for testosterone. And its reduction in older males. An octogenarian went to see a doctor about, "failing eyesight".
Anyhow the Doctor took Xrays, blood tests and what have you. then told the old bloke to come back in around a month. On his return, the Doctor studied the reports and the Xrays over and over. Going tsk tsk, my, my etc, etc. Then turned to the old bloke, and said, I'm sorry old timer, but you're going to have to give up sex! Wadda mean doc, replied the old man, thinking about it or talking about it? Cheers, Alan B. Posted by Alan B., Saturday, 26 May 2018 12:14:47 PM

We will never ever be able to eliminate drug cheats in sport and elsewhere! Why folk can take chemicals or HERBS to increase the sperm count longer erectile function, endurance and memory/IQ, just to name some areas. And who would blame them if they are treating dementia or erectile dysfunction or brain trauma or injury?
Then there is the apparently vexed question of gender reassignment surgery? Vexed it would seem for folks not needing it to clarify their gender bias! And like saying to a blind man, you can have those cataracts removed because is God's will that you were rendered blind. But I digress, and to return to my central point. If we can never ever beat them then we should join them! And by doing it better! After that, drugs in sport are just the tip of a very large iceberg, where money and sports betting play a major role. With refereeing howlers escaping commentary judgement or condemnation? Particularly in countries, where endemic generational poverty is rife! While here, some of our football referees need to go to Specsavers, given the number of head high infringements go unnoticed, along with forward passes and mistakenly attributed knock-ons. And protected from these glaring howlers by a compounding refusal to refer. And need to follow cricket by given each captain three challenge referrals that only exhaust, like cricket, when he calls it wrong! So, it's not just drugs that are a major problem in sport, so also is betting and crooked officials, on and off the field! Alan B. Posted by Alan B., Sunday, 27 May 2018 11:26:33 AM

Transgender Boy Wins Girls' State Wrestling Title For Second Time. On February 24th, Beggs beat fellow wrestler Chelsea Sanchez in the Class 6A Region II tournament in Cypress, Texas, to claim the state wrestling title. His win was met with mixed cheers and boos from spectators. Asa Merritt, a West Texas reporter speaking to NPR, said that “there was jeering and jawing.” He added “People said things like, you know, ‘He doesn’t belong there. He should be on a different mat.’ It was really intense.” Beggs has faced controversy on his way up to the top. The UIL permits Beggs to participate while taking testosterone because it’s a low dose and it’s prescribed by a physician, but many of the parents of his fellow wrestlers are angry that he is competing against girls. Philip S,
Perhaps I’ve misinterpreted your first post on this thread, but if you think people should compete in sport based on the gender they were born, then that story you’ve linked to doesn’t help your case. The transgender boy it discusses was born a girl, that’s why he’s competing against girls. Texas law stipulates that transgender people must compete in the league for the gender that appears on their birth certificate. http://nypost.com/2018/02/25/transgender-boy-wins-girls-state-wrestling-title-for-second-time This transgender wrestler wants to compete against the boys but is prohibited from doing so. In this instance, the Texas legislation has backfired spectacularly. This is why the concern over unfair competition is misguided for transgender people who are transitioning with hormone treatment. Male-to-female transgender people lose muscle mass and begin to store fat more easily, and vice versa for female-to-male transgender people. It’s not just male-to-female transgender people wanting to compete in women’s leagues, it's also female-to-male transgender people wanting to compete against the blokes. No one seems to be concerned about the latter, though. Posted by AJ Philips, Wednesday, 30 May 2018 9:47:47 PM

We can and should deny these cheats their manmade and manufactured unnatural success or medal by embracing genetic engineering of elite athletes to allow nature assisted by our world-leading technology to not only beat the cheats at their own game but leave a lasting inheritable legacy that transfers forever to our children and our children's children. As improved natural strength, endurance, speed, reflexes and longevity.
As for testosterone? In a reported recent study, a female professor decided to up her levels, by injection, to that of the average 19-year-old male.
With the first month and injection, you couldn't wipe the smile from hubbies mouth. The second month and injection however saw changes that included him looking around like a hunted animal seeking concealment and refuge, while his amorous partner sought him here there and everywhere. Come the third month and injection, the story goes, he was repeatedly seen climbing up on the roof and hauling the ladder up after him? Alan B.
