Russia’s brutally mediocre military performance in Syria : Comments

By Gary Gambill, published 10/4/2018

To hear officials in Moscow talk about the war in Syria, you'd think it was a coming out party for Russia's armed services and military-industrial complex.

It is testimony to how much the American military is hamstrung by their inability
to strike at some targets. Because Isis knowing this, uses those sites for bases

Russia however, with its much lower grade weapons, can go in there and turn
the war against Isis around and have them on the run in a couple of months,
because they target where it's necessary and because they are smart enough
to use unmarked planes and bombs, so it cant be proven.

Conjecture and Supposition is alive and well....'truth' not required and or sought after when 'opinion' is considered good enough.

And when discovered just say 'who' 'what', where'.... we were misled by good intention.....

are you people for real?

President Donald Trump is on his way to becoming one of the best US presidents in US history.

He completely ignored Russian "president" Vladimir Putin's threats about a US/Russia war and ordered a military strike on Russia's loathsome ally, Syria. Vlad's implied threat to target US warships launching strikes on Syria was seen by President Trump as a disinformation exercise meant to frighten western wimps like CHERFUL and Francesca, and an empty threat. Russian weapon systems are just not good enough to counter the US technological lead, and Vlad knows it. The USA will always be twenty years ahead of Russia and China in terms of military technology, because the US has to invent it, design it, manufacture it, and test it, before the Russians and Chinese can steal it.

The forces of the civilised world rightly blasted "president" Assad's chemical weapons manufacturing and storage facilities, much to the cheering of intelligent people in the west. Russia claimed that it's much vaunted BUK-400 missiles shot down a dozen of the incoming missiles, but I will take that with a grain of salt. And even if true, an 18% hit rate is hardly cause for celebration.

The most significant aspect of this attack was the failure of Russia to live up to it's threat to target the US navy, and the naval warships of France and Britain. Putin knew that it would hardly inspire confidence in Russian weaponry or benefit Russian arms sales if all of his ships were sunk and all of his aircraft and missiles shot down by the west's superior technology.

The Russian latest fighter, the Su-35 is a particularly fine fighter aircraft. The Russian claim that it outperforms the amazing US F-15 fighter is probably true. But when one remembers that the F-15 entered service 35 years ago then the Russian bragging looks hollow indeed. If the Su-35 went up against a US F-22 Raptor, the Russian pilot would think he was up against a flying saucer. And the F-22 itself entered service 20 years ago.

Trump is either now going along with the neoconservative war plans against Assad or he's being manipulated by those around him.

War with Russia is probably now inevitable.
All it will take is another false flag chemical attack and Trump will be forced to act to remove Assad.
He'll lose much of his supporters but it won't matter if he goes along with the war agenda.
Expect something after next weekend when the Truman Carrier group reaches Eastern Mediterranean.
This is actually Obama's policy and Trump's been suckered.
I think the globalist plan all along is to force Russia and China into closer ties and kill the petrodollar.

Russia's been preparing for war, I think they are expecting the US to start one.

Here's some actual inside info from Syria instead of second-hand bs / corporate media narrative.
I hope you click and become informed with the truth.
