Russia’s brutally mediocre military performance in Syria : Comments

By Gary Gambill, published 10/4/2018

To hear officials in Moscow talk about the war in Syria, you'd think it was a coming out party for Russia's armed services and military-industrial complex.

Who can understand the multilateral mixed messaging mind of the Russian (slam bam wham, thank you Mam) military or even if is has one (shared, put it in a thimble and it'd still rattle) among them? XXX There's a colloquial expression that goes, double deleted expletive in the head, that might explain it and consistent with the result of homosexually transferred syphilis? XXX Alan B.

There is a reason that the Russians are using chemical weapons, as most of their other weapons are not doing so well.

Gary (“Syria is Iran’s Stalingrad”(June 13, 2013)is at least consistent in his propaganda.

Russia simply can't do war as well as the US* can.

The Russian defence budget (at about US$70 Billion a year) can't afford it, compared to America's whopping US$611 Billion a year.**

* and with the help of the US's devoted Deputy Sheriffs eg. http://www.defence.gov.au/Operations/Okra/

They've done good enough, helped prevent the fall of Assad and loss of Syria to Wahhabists, and slowed the US neoconservative plans, they couldn't stop Syria Plan B, Israeli backed Kurds carving off a piece of western Syria.

Good enough to force the stupid western backed rebels to continue staging false flag chemical attacks...

Considering US outspends the rest of the world on its military, its 1000 military bases and installations around the world, also supplying NATO countries with missiles pointed at Russia, no other country could compete, or would dare at the risk of being demonised, sanctioned, etc.
