Duterte the dauntless : Comments

By Bruce Haigh, published 6/3/2018

Duterte is popular with the people, even down to his crude and sexist 'humour'. They see him as down to earth in a Barnaby Joyce sort of way.

The privatised, corporatized Philippines has been a bed of corporatized corruption and for decades, where money can buy you virtually anything? And seems to be going in reverse from bad to worse, their scarce resources confiscated by corrupt officials and a PRIVATISED example, we with our mountains of squandered resources, seem destined to follow?

Well we do have he same overlord as our aly as well, who seems to want to own everything there is including our economic sovereignty?
With the latest piece of bastardry, being the patent reneging on a very one sided, free trade agreement, hardly worth more than Donald Trump's verbal assurances?

And given we don't want to follow the Philippines, when our mineral boom is just so many holes in the ground around 30 years from now and anything worth anything has become an American possession?

And where the native born owned cattle station, is reduced to a few hundred acres! Will somebody ask, why didn't someone just say no a couple of key times?

Friends, the real ones might get a little disappointed with the occasional no? But real friends and family dont want all you have and generally give more than they take!

And the very reason we must take back our destiny and economic sovereignty, crack on with MSR energy and the Lowest possible power prices and steel we can still sell to America, even with a 25% tariff!

We need to rescind some of our "gifts", with legislation that spells out in no uncertain terms, that invention and discoveries will always remain the, protected by patent, intellectual property of the inventor or discoverer, rgardless.

So we an reclaim the pulsed laser light method of enrichment, invented here as our patented property. Not able to be gifted without the owner's consent by an elected official/our alleged servant, without our express approval.

Ditto the locally invented single step steel smelting method, Chip Goodyear ave away to his American buddies? These are technological advantages that we should have in our future! Do we want to emulate a poverty ravished Philippines?

After being totally humiliated by the fact that Tony stopped the boats when Bruce and every other Abbott hater said it was impossible its good to see Bruce has moved on. I hope Bruce's assessment of things is now a bit more accurate although I doubt it. The few Philippino friends I have in Aussie seem to love their President.

Speaking of the Philippines did you know that its former kleptocrat president, namely Marcos parked the hugely enormous amount of gold and dollars that he stole from his people in a bank run by the Vatican.

The Vatican bank was also used as a money-laundering conduit for many other dodgy characters and outfits and criminals including the mafia, and used to finance the rat-run by which Nazi war criminals were secretly sent to safe havens, particularly in South America.
