Trump, Jesus and the Evangelicals : Comments

By Mark Christensen, published 22/2/2018

God forbid, Trump is not the subversive figure described by Andrew Sullivan. But he is the next best thing when confused, self-important elites are hopelessly out of touch.

This is what passes as "informed" "conservative" opinion!

Jeez, I have read some rubbish on this site before, but this essay easily wins the booby prize for the worst ever.
By comparison even the nonsense that Sells writes seems reasonably intelligent.
Why not check out the references to the book Trumpocracy by the old style conservative David Frum who was George Bush's speech writer.

The nature of the insane clown president's character is completely obvious. Its all on the public record. Everything that he has ever done has demonstrated that he has zero moral or ethical qualities.

This is barely readable as a post. If Mark Christensen really wants to know why evangelicals support Donald Trump, he should look no further than "The enemy of my enemy is my friend".

The real irony here is that Donald Trump behaves exactly the opposite of all evangelical preaching, but they support him anyway. It is almost as if the US evangelicals don't have faith in their convictions and are willing to make a pact with the devil in order to get what they want.

Agronomist. 'Twas ever thus. Anything to separate the gullible from their money.

"If Trump was a decent human being he would be out there on the side of all the kids who are protesting against the US's ridiculous gun laws."

Trump campaigned in support of the second amendment.
He was VOTED into office for positions he supported, and you think you can divide him and his supporters so easily?
Second of all the left have been screaming "Not My President" for the last 18mths and now they want him to do something that goes against what he campained on.
He owes them nothing, he ain't their President LOL
Third, there's a strange phenomena taking place at present.
All the kids your speaking of trying to guilt Trump into changing his policy - are all in the same school drama class.
I bet you didn't know that one.

I bet you didn't know other students still support the second amendment - as well as challenge the official story about a single shooter, but you're too busy lapping up the stuff the bought and paid for media are trying to sell you.

Conservatives have 200 million guns and trillions of rounds of ammo.
If they were the bad people you claim them to be with guns, I can assure you you'd all know about it.
Have you seen the T-shirts "Come and take it" and "Don't tread on me"?
Any attempt to take the guns will result in 1776.
You people do not understand America.
You're on drugs if you think you can take the firearms.

Even worse is that you all have an opinion but aren't well informed.
It's just adds more crud to the arguments.

What none of you numbskulls has mentioned - is the prescription drugs.

None ask about the use SSRI's - Selective Seratonin Reuptake Inhibitors:
- Responsible for most of the other mass shootings as well but the media won't tell you that.

Then you forget to add that with the FBI like to use people as Patsy's to push their own agendas.
Another drill on the day in question - has false flag all over it.

Also if the FBI was negligent then it was because they have been focussed on this Russia bs, so the left should blame themselves if anyone.

I don't see anyone suggesting a plan to intervene and stop the carnage during school shootings...

Its pretty simple - you have a code-locked room with a locked safe with guns, adjoined a school security office - and no-one at the school has those codes - only given out during an emergency by a head office after confirming of an active shooter. School security will be faster on the scene and have better knowledge of school layout anyway.

So there you have the equivalent of 'minutemen and nuclear codes' to deal with an active shooter, the second the need requires.

Also stop plastering their names and faces all over the TV and you might stop the notoriety factor.
