This is a proforma for authoritarian government. How can anybody in their right mind, respect anything that comes from this Godforsaken horror called China.

My understand is that this horrible dictator's 'ant-corruption' campaign entailed knocking of his competitors. All the corruption was his.

While the article was historically accurate and inherently correct. There's more to Xi Jinping's crackdown on corruption the mets the eye?

And has acted to entench both his power and authority to the dizzying heights, of almost absolute power/the new most powerful man in the world?

And dangerously coupled to a desire for regional expansion assisted by quite massive military expansion!

Given the potentially crippling debt level that has funded all this expansion/infrastructure build?

Almost reminiscent of prewar Nazi Germany and the accompanying rise in mindless nationalism/massive military expansion/massive infrastructure build/monumental quantitative easing to pay for all of it? Jawohl mein Herr?
