Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and the prospect of a two-state solution : Comments

By Alon Ben-Meir, published 18/12/2017

I predicted that the move would have major consequences and may well destroy the prospect of a negotiated peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians.

There was never going to be a two state solution as the logistics were always impractical
If Gaza was independent as it's own entity, maybe the West Bank could achieve it's own statehood but that was never the intention of the Zionists, they wanted it all....and more, which is yet to come.
The Zionist manifesto goes well beyond Palestine as the Arabs are yet to discover.
Why settle for less when you can get more, as the Saudi clown prince will be one of the first, is yet to discover.
The whole thing was a con to play for time and slowly erode the Palestinian position with the help of UK and US and while there are triple citizen Palestinians moving their alliances and getting rich with the status quo, it will go on as is.....till it changes....and it will change as all things change.
Palestinians waiting for the US and UK to recognize their plight are simply knocking on a deaf man's door

I tend to disagree that the cause is lost and that the world is deaf, given recent security council resolutions.

And given there were no abstentions and the only veto was coming from America. The Palestinians could throw a cat among the pigeons and invite Putin to negotiate a final position, they can live with, for them?

Until then, the commercial boycott must be ramped up and ramped up, until the commercial realities force change and the current, recalcitrant friendless demonstrably duplicitous, I believe, Israeli leadership into the political wilderness!

It's hard to Imagine Putin as a statesman? And his agreed position more likely to be respected in Gaza, particularly given a small Russian tactical weapon fired from a Russian warship, would obliterate Hamas and all their terrorist activities! Not that I would welcome that, but possibly the only way to put Hamas back in its box?

Putin the, loaded for bear, peacemaker?! Not completely impossible, particularly given the Jewish population still in Russia!?

The deal sealer, would be cheap reliable energy and cheap desalinated water. Both of which promise massive change and equally massive economic renewal!

See Professor Robert Hargreaves and, Thorium cheaper than coal.

Nuclear technician and NASA scientist Kirk Soresen and, Thorium in four minutes.

Richard Martin, prize winning investigative Journalist and, Super fuel, subtitled green energy.

Or conversely, resident nut job/thorium stalker, No Name Numbskull and his gibberish designed explicitly, to encourage you to look not at the evidence and just dismiss it, as more of his cloud cuckoo land, demented drivel!

Q: How can you tell when nicknamenick is on the level?
A: He dribbles equally out of both sides of his mouth.

Q: Why are Kiwis like No Name Numbskull, always buried in graves at least two feet deeper than ours?
A: Because deep deep down, Kiwis are really nice people!

The last Thorium cooker was broken up 40 years ago. Why does Alan keep scamming a non-existent fake ? Russians are smart they can make a nuke that sniffs out Hamas . Turks have 23,000 nukes to defend Anzac Cove.

The two state solution was never more than a talking point.
The call is for Palestine to be from the river to the sea.
Any leader who compromises on that is dead.
It is not just Hamas that has the demand that Israel must be eliminated.

Allah also demands it as the Koran says that any land once occupied
by moslems always remains moslem land.
That is the bottom line and no compromise is possible.
Now we think that is ridiculous but that is they way it is.
To compromise can only be done as an interim deception to complete control.
Israel must know this so will not accept temporary settlements.
