If Gaza was independent as it's own entity, maybe the West Bank could achieve it's own statehood but that was never the intention of the Zionists, they wanted it all....and more, which is yet to come.

It's hard to Imagine Putin as a statesman? And his agreed position more likely to be respected in Gaza, particularly given a small Russian tactical weapon fired from a Russian warship, would obliterate Hamas and all their terrorist activities! The two state solution was never more than a talking point.
The call is for Palestine to be from the river to the sea.
Any leader who compromises on that is dead.
It is not just Hamas that has the demand that Israel must be eliminated.
