By David Singer, published 14/12/2017

Bush's strategy involved him firstly stating his 'vision' before actually announcing the Bush Roadmap to turn that vision into reality.

“The neuroanatomy suggests, that Homo sapiens primitive impulses of rage, fear and craving, must contend with the cerebral restraints of prudence, moralisation and self control; though, as in all attempts at taming the wild, it's not always clear who has the upper hand”.

Pinker. “The better angels of our nature” p605.

Suddenly, the Singer sings a different tune.

Trump can tiptoe through the tulips, for all the difference he can now make! He has spent any goodwill available to him with all Palestinians and Nethanyahu is not a negotiator! Just a faker taker nobody will ever truly trust! Trust? Yes, but look!

There's only one course of action now available to the Palestinians and all who agree with them that their homeland was and remains their homeland. Particularly those who were never consulted by alleged "leaders," who involved them in somebody else's war!

Fought on their territory over oil surety by warring adversaries! It just did not make the annexation by Jewish migrants, lawful!

And that's the commercial boycott ramped and ramped up, until the Israelis have no other recourse than arrive at a negotiated settlement. Which if done and finalised now, from a position of still comparative strength!

Trump ought to not only encourage Israel to negotiate but demand that they not only do so. But finalise a position both they and the Palestinians can live with, inside six months!

It has to be, get it done or get out of the way!

Better yet, ask Mr Putin to settle/mediate the differences with his unique, take it or leave it, style?

I'm sure David, both you and the Israeli leadership, believe Trump will stand beside them and stay the course, if and or when that should occur?

Take it to the bank! And demonstrated by his willingness to personally don the jungle greens during the Vietnam saga, where the ultra dependable Americans proved they would never ever desert an ally, even if the body count breached new records.

It must be such a comfort to know that Israel has such a dependable warrior nation at its side!? Da?

I have a dream . A vision . Drunken incoherence. East Jerusalem of Israel capital of Palestinian Zionist West Bank. Bus depot for good-bye Jordan Arabs , side by side over the Dead Sea. Speed bonnie boat like a bird on the wing over the sea to Skye .

Translation: whatever Trump is doing, he should do something different.

He of course should follow the Bush strategy, because, as we all know, that strategy was widely successful </sarc>.

Getting the Israelis to the table isn't the issue or the problem. Its the so-called Palestinians who are the problem. Until they come to realise that the current offer is the best they'll ever get, they will continue to obfuscate. But as their erstwhile financiers and enablers begin to fad away, perhaps Trump might get lucky.

But not by following the failed policies of the path.

That's right. Blame Israel as usual. There will never be peace there until there is no such thing as Islam. People siding with Palestine against a democratic country with as system of beliefs and values similar to ours are just plain idiots. The nut job Muslims continually calling for the obliteration of Israel are, themselves, the ones who should be obliterated.

Israel's trying. Keeping the US weapon supply-line going is the worry. The crazy Muslims have air-forces which obstruct progress in deleting the Middle East and where does Russia stand? A final solution will clear the map east of Poland and Yanks can't find Arstralia on the map.
