'Vive la Difference!' Don’t use marriage to equalise unequals : Comments

There is something completely unique about the relationship we’ve always known as ‘marriage’, the union of one man and one woman to the exclusion of all others, voluntarily entered into for life.

There are people in the gay community, in same-sex relationships, who say that heterosexual, permanent, exclusive unions, what we've always called marriage, are unique and should be treated uniquely.

Not heterosexual, not hateful.

Are they bigoted?

So, do you dismiss them because they are in the minority, or do you drop your ad hominem attitude and take what they say on its merits?
