Hi Alan B.
Yes, its true a major Israeli foreign policy aim/tactic is to divide the Arabs: - be they close by, Hamas vs Fatah - or more generally close and far, Sunnis vs Shiites Trump brokering peace (very unTrump) would frustrate Israel's divisive tactic. __________________________________________________ Hi David Looks like you took my advice of 13 October 2017 to run this article- see http://forum.onlineopinion.com.au/thread.asp?article=19341&page=0#343877 "Hi David Here's a useful story (published today 13 [Oct] 2017) for your next article http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-10-13/palestinian-rivals-fatah-hamas-sign-reconciliation-accord/9045694 "Rival Palestinian factions Hamas and Fatah have signed a reconciliation deal after Hamas agreed to hand over administrative control of Gaza, a decade after seizing the enclave in a civil war. ...Tensions between the two strikingly different governments have been a major obstacle to achieving Israeli-Palestinian peace in recent years, as Hamas fought three wars with Israel since 2008 and, until recently, continued to call for its destruction. ...But despite the reconciliation, the accord was met with negativity in Israel which said — without elaborating — that it would make peace "harder". Neither Hamas nor Fatah wants to give up power, so the chances of a single negotiating body will be impossible.

The Libs and Labor may do a bi-partisan deal to keep some of the Kimberley and Kakadu when China settles its woollen-mill workforce in suitable land . Although wool-mills needs cool climates and Chinese Tasmania looks more reasonable .

Now thanks to the Internet, news and views about Israel that the strongly Jewish influenced Western Mainstream media have in the past largely kept hidden are becoming more widely recognised. For a start, before Palestine came under British colonial rule after demise of the Ottoman Empire which had long governed it, apparently about 5% of the population was Jews, who had peacefully coexisted with Christians and Muslims for hundreds of years.
Then apparently influenced by the Rothschild banking dynasty, the British proceeded to establish a Jewish "homeland " in Palestine. Started progressively stealing land from Palestinians. Many Jews from Europe especially moved there. However, the claim that they had Jewish ancestors from Palestine seems on scrutiny largely a big lie. Itseems largely from Khazaria, an area including present day Ukraine and Georgia. People from there seemed overall a dishonest lot and in about 750 AD rulers pressured by neighbouring countries had them converted to Judaism to try and improve ethical standards. However, about 500 years later in around 1250 AD, neighbouring Russia and Persia invaded with aim of destroying the corruption etc. Many Khazars the fled to Europe - and more recently often further afield. Apparently since then, there have been well over than 100 documented instances where Jews have been kicked out of cities , countries etc. Unfortunately descendants of these dishonest Khazars have gained political influence and financial power far out of proportion to their numbers. They are the main ones peddling the myth that Jews have the strongest historic ties to the area of Palestine. Has got to the stage where Palestinians have largely become persecuted prisoners in their own country under a Zionist Settler State of recent immigrants. Have largely practised a "divide and Rule " policy towards neighbouring Arab countries Covertly encouraging them to fight each other to divert threats away from Israel. Also, help facilitate the dream of a much enlarged "Greater Israel." Seems in covert interests of Israel, encouraging the likes of Hamas and Fatah to continue arguing with each rather than unite against Israel would be a widely acceptable policy. Unfortunately the Palestinians are slow learners to realize the moral values of the west. It's not what is true, but what is said to be true, that guides the masses.
That's why who ever controls the media exerts great influence on the perceived truth and the story is as old as Carthage itself. If, and when, the Palestinians realize that the west is not going to embrace their cause, is when the Palestinians will come of age. The PLO is a dead donkey and Hamas has been sidelined sufficiently at this time by Israel,Egypt and the US. This will eventually change as everything does. As far as Trump peace plans....nevva gunna happ'n..Trump is too engaged in trying to figure new ways of wiping his backside that if anything positive happens it will be because the leader of the lost 'merican people was distracted at the time. #plantaganet
Just wanting to set the record straight by correcting your statement: "Looks like you took my advice of 13 October 2017 to run this article- see http://forum.onlineopinion.com.au/thread.asp?article=19341&page=0#343877 " I actually submitted the article to OLO on 13 October. It was not published till 17 October. #mox Back again with your wild unsubstantiated false claims. You expose yourself as a true Jew-hater with this one claim: "Then apparently influenced by the Rothschild banking dynasty, the British proceeded to establish a Jewish "homeland " in Palestine" Fact is this could never have happened if all 51 member States of the League of Nations had not unanimously agreed to the creation of the Mandate for Palestine. Will your next response be: "Well - all those 51 nation states were influenced by the Rothschild dynasty" Peddle your lies elsewhere. No wonder you are ashamed to provide your real name. #ilmessagio A breath of fresh air after reading the rubbish spewed out by #mox. However I would not write Trump off. Indeed the "reconciliation" between PLO and Hamas may well be the opening Trump is waiting for. Imagine if he tweeted: "PLO reconciliation with Hamas justifies termination of Israel-PLO negotiations and replacement with Israel-Jordan negotiations." The PLO shot themselves in the foot in 2000/1,2008 and 2014. They are running out of feet Posted by david singer, Thursday, 19 October 2017 7:53:37 AM

Palestinian Arabs are extinct and Tzahal and Knesset are the only negotiators in the field. These 2 charities will administer the land that's given to them by them for them .

After all, what then would they use to promote their gradual takeover of occupied land and allow the settler program to continue unabated or expanded?
TRUMP PEACE PLANS? Hahahahaha! Oh my aching ribs!
