Ten ideas mean the Maroon state can be a winner always : Comments

Trim the fat back out of the public service and yes, cut the wages to the elite few.
Stop paying welfare in the form of cash.
Give public house a use by date. What right does anyone have to living their whole life in subsidised housing. Redefine welfare as a 'hand up' not a 'hand out' as it has now become.
Offer dole recipients the choice of working for their dole, or staying on the dole and not working which reverts to the 2 cans of beans a day and a tent to sleep in.
Let's face it, if they are happy to accept this they don't care about themselves or their country, if they are not happy with this, work for the dole.
You first have to stop the waste and get the non productive, productive, or to a point where they cost you next to nothing.
Once this is achieved you can start to move forward. Anything else is like leaving the hand brake on.
