Palm Sunday: reflections on resilience in the face of injustice : Comments

This isn't a Palm Sunday story from 2,000 years ago. It's from late last year, and instead of palm fronds this cheerful and determined group of Palestinians hold olive seedlings.

We don't seem to have the article. However, just looking at the heading, I can say that there is nothing more unjust than Palestine denying the right of Israel to exist. Palestinians with olive seedlings? Phooey!

Apologies to haaretz, the daily Israeli newspaper, for cutting and pasting this reference to an opinion piece back in 2014. But like the author of this piece I get sicked and tired of the Israeli propaganda machine forever repeating the lie that the Palestinians have not recognized Israel.

They might 'recognise' Israel, but they still wish to raze it from the face of the Earth, with the help of Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran.

Like the Greater Israel movement then. They might 'recognise' Palestinians but they want all of Palestine with bits of Lebanon, Syria and Jordan thrown in too.
