Nuclear Weapons States have utterly failed to deliver on article VI of the Nuclear Non-Proiferation Treaty, which obliges them to dsimantle their nuclear weapons

I recollect that at the outset of the Ukrainian problem Russia
announced that it would cease sending its ex weapons uranium to the
US for processing into nuclear power station fuel.
Perhaps they have restarted, it is not something that much noise is made about.
So the destruction of weapons has been going on for some considerable time.
When calculating how many years uranium can power the planet I do not
think they include weapons uranium.
