Jews do not need any homeland on Palestinian land, as the world's Jews have dozens of homelands in which they are citizens living in total equality with everyone else. Here is how a two-state solution would look without overlords and submen:

* Each territory to have equal state sovereignty.

You just weren't cool and fashionable in western universities unless you had lived and worked on a kibbutz. At the time of the Six Day War, which Egypt started by blockading the port of Eilat, everybody knew that Israel was going to be defeated. The Arabs were brandishing their new Soviet tanks, artillery, armoured vehicles, and Migs, and everyone knew that 2 million Israelis could not hope to win against 500 million Arabs. But the Israelis won. And they won the Yom Kippur war also.

Now, if there is one thing that trendy lefties despise, it is a winner. Especially one allied to the Great Satan, the USA. People who win are "oppressors", and people who lose are "victims." Oppressors are always wrong, and victims are always right. People like yourself can not process information any other way.

So, much to my amazement, I saw people like yourself do a complete back flip on Israel. Suddenly the 500 million Arabs screaming for Israel's extermination are the good guys, and the Israelis they wanted to exterminate are the baddies.
