Rojama has provided one of the more ignorant and racist posts I've seen. One personal relationship failure and Rojama tars a whole diverse group of people with the one brush. Gobsmacking...and absurd. Rojama also displays a clear lack of knowledge about how Aboriginal people ensured genetic diversity. And obviously knows nothing about the interactions with Macassans. Nice of Rojama to make such a public display of racism and ignorance though.

rehctub states 'The reality is that we as a society are now powerless to do anything as all the apology has achieved is to have placed our authorities on the back foot and they are merely spectators.' How about substantiating that empty opinion with some facts. Otherwise it simply remains and empty (and worthless) opinion.

Would some of those US style 'boot camps' for juvenile offenders be beneficial? There were quite a few of them on TV a few years ago. They seemed to work on rebellious kids from USA and UK.
