Today's art world is a very well mapped-out universe consisting of a few thousand leading galleries.

There are reasons why modern religious music is so awful: a) there are relatively few people making it and b) the audience doesn't care whether it's any good, as long as it's religious. And the same applies to religious art. Art will be good when good (or inspired) artists do it, whether they're religious or not. It will be bad when people do it for any reason other than the drive to produce the best possible art that they can.

This piece is just an exercise in wishful thinking: "Why, oh why don't other people value the things I do?"
