Turnbull’s 'caretaker' prime ministership: a looming electoral defeat? : Comments

By Glen Anderson and Alan Berman, published 12/4/2016

Rather than trusting Turnbull with another election cycle, segments of the electorate (including even the pro-Liberal commentariat), appear to be losing interest and contemplating a Shorten Labor government.

Forced to agree with Hasbeen (once again), however, Plantagenet has a most intriguing, interesting and attractive potential outcome, I like it :)

I think you people are focusing on the wrong things. Labor and liberal are just the two wings of the same bird of prey with you and I being the prey.

Both them conspired to frustrate the will and rights of the Australian people by locking out any potential opposition through the use of above and below the line voting.

Only about 4% of electors vote below the line. See how closely and cooperatively the two party system works together?

Among any other purpose for bringing this initiative in is to lock out all opposition, independents and micro parties specifically, and force the Australian people into a choice THEY give us.

See what they are doing to us?

This is where concentration of attention and effort needs to go to fix this situation if we the people are to regain any modicum of claim that we have govt of the people by the people.
