I'm almost sure most folk believe we are doing more than we need to, for economic migrants? But we just don't know!

Perhaps we should if only to shut up the insufferable, eternally complaining, moribund, single minded greens.

Even so, something needs to be advanced about resettlement of genuine refugees, who have been used by everybody, but especially the eternally complaining perpetually bloody minded greens, as a prefered political football!

A regional solution that actually completely liberates these folk would do, such as the junked Malaysian swap agreement that would have seen these folk being able to live in the wider community, rent relatively comfortable apartments, go to school, Church, work and socialize as they wait for resettlement, just never ever in Australia.

And the only means we have to shut down criminal people trafficking and the unconscionable drownings that resulted!

The end result the resettlement in Australia of thousands of invited and genuine; and more culturally acceptable refugees!

Your article is an excellent advert reminding people they should vote Green.

This is noting:

- Labor has since 2013 looked discredited with lacklustre Shorten at the helm

- now Turnbull, who looked a winner, is proving a Policy Eunuch. Lack of policies is made worse by sniping from Abbott. Abbott has a poor public image (+ Credlin) but someone who Could push through policies.

- Turnbull has become a parody of Yes Minister a politician presiding over a Policy Hospital - meaning the "Hospital" should be kept politicly spotless by having no Policies.

- Even Scott Morrison has been pushed by Turnbull into being a do-nothing Treasurer.

Turnbull's Long Game is to remain PM until he can orchestrate the Presidential system. Of course Turnbull will be Australia's First President under this system.
