Oz Day has been hijacked by awards and events publicising politically correct causes : Comments

By Brendan O'Reilly, published 25/1/2016

My gripe is that Australia Day has become nondescript and, in attempting to make it appealing to everyone, it fulfils neither its original nor its amended purpose.

The proposal to replace woosy "Australia Day" with:

White Man's Conquest Improved All Day is with Her Majesty, The Queen, for her last big Tap Dance.

Australia Day should also be celebrated as Democracy Day as is it the beginning of its emergence (within a century) in what had been 50,000 years of truly "Terror Australis" under brutal Tribal rule, incessant warfare and rape culture.

This Bogan Extraordinaire http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-01-25/james-ross-munro%27s-mother-proud-of-son-for-disrupting-robbery/7111446
has just been nominated for "Real White Man" Aussie of the Year.

With apologies to Rudyard Kipling

Take up the White Man’s burden.
Send forth your sturdy kin,
And load them down with Bibles
And cannon-balls and gin.

Throw in a few diseases
To spread the tropic climes,
For there the healthy ni----s
Are quite behind the times.

And don’t forget the factories.
On those benighted shores
They have no cheerful iron mills,
Nor eke department stores.

They never work twelve hours a day
And live in strange content,
Altho they never have to pay
A single sou of rent.

Take up the White Man’s burden,
And teach the Philippines
What interest and taxes are
And what a mortgage means.

Give them electrocution chairs,
And prisons, too, galore,
And if they seem inclined to kick,
Then spill their heathen gore.

They need our labor question, too,
And politics and fraud—
We’ve made a pretty mess at home,
Let’s make a mess abroad.

And let us ever humbly pray
The Lord of Hosts may deign
To stir our feeble memories
Every day "Austraya" Day!

"My gripe is that Australia Day has become nondescript and, in attempting to make it appealing to everyone, it fulfils neither its original nor its amended purpose. Worse still, I would argue that many current Australia Day institutions and celebrations no longer fit well with accepted Australian values and have been drowned in political correctness."

Never a truer word spoken (written). Australia Day, like Australia itself, has become a cliqued, politically correct joke. It all began with unasked for multiculturalism and the going has been all the way down since. Cultural relativism is rife (and demanded). There is no way any country can pull together when it is diseased with 'diversity'.

Australia Day celebration? Bah and humbug! We have had the whole show stuffed up for us by politicians kowtowing to a wider world which barely knows of our existence until it suits them.

Take up the Black Man’s burden.
Send forth our sturdy kin,
Let us revel in our ignorance
And misogyny and gin.

Throw in a timeless apathy
To spread in tropic climes,
And do nothing for 40.000 years
Until we are quite behind the times.

And don’t forget the child abuse.
On these benighted shores
Rape the boys and call it "initiation",
And turn the little girls into whores.

Never work twelve hours a day
Just sit around and drink
Working is for the white folk
Who finance our Centrelink.

Take up the Black Man’s Burden,
And teach the Philippines
To breed like flies and know the whites
Will keep us till we dies.

Give us doles and special laws
To make our happy lives endure
Then blame the whites when we misbehave
Which is all just bovine manure.

And when we all demand
Our self determination
Indulge us in our silly demands
Then watch the inevitable conflagration

And let us ever humbly submit
To the Lord of Hosts we pray.
To forget that Australia is envied by the world
Every "Invasion Day!"
