Is Turnbull Born to Rule? : Comments

By Everald Compton, published 8/1/2016

The issue is whether he can successfully assemble together his vast experience of life in law, money, journalism, politics and civic affairs to get the results of which he is clearly capable.

How can anybody say the unnecessary assassination of Abbott was not warranted The people of AU said he had to go so it became very necessary. It was either Abbott go or the Liberal party would be gone also. Besides that he was an infiltrator into an otherwise moderate liberal party. Mal was elected to rule because the liberals said he was the best to lead the libs back to a true liberal party. Besides which he won the election on the back of lies and deceit.
Employers want a one way deal , that is what they have ever wanted. So what has changed, nothing at all. Howard done alright till he went in over his head with work choices, that was the end of him. What does changing IR laws have to support workers of a better standard of life style, The lowest payd of worker will they be better of than now or worse.
Any talk of changes to IR laws is always one sided, it’s all about gains for the employer. Why don’t we talk about gains for the lowest payd workers. If you get that right the rest will be much more implementable. Abbott set up the Royal Commission strictly for the purpose of attacking workers. I would say it was a miserable failure and not worth the money. The whole time it achieved very little, and now up to the courts to find out what they are supposed to do with it. The main culprits in Abbott’s opinion was Gillard and Shorten, both failed to rate a mention. A handful of persons caught with their hand in the till. Hardly a mandate for dramatic changes. It’s union members money, not govt; treasury money. That should have been a police matter, and saved 80 million $. It was Abbott’s dream unraveling.

What makes anybody think it is acceptable that anyone has to die at work. That is an unacceptable assumption.
Geof Kennet was a liar just like Abbott, That was the man that said no forced amalgamations, he did just that he got voted out.

The main thing wrong with Australia today is that far too many lefty ratbags like Everald managed to get government advisory jobs, & far too many governments listened to their ratbag ideas.

As for our age pension, I'm one of those pensioners, & am amazed at how generous it is. Anyone who can't live on it very comfortably is an idiot or a wastrel, who never made any provision for their future. Such people don't deserve the kids of today to provide more for them, when they have their own way to make.

Time you ditched those 25mm thick rose coloured glasses Everald old boy, & looked at what a rip off merchant Turnbull really is.

At present I really can't see any other alternative
to our current Prime Minster. The Opposition does
not currently present a viable alternative.
I guess we shall have to wait and see what policies
Mr Turnbull will present us with prior to the next
election.

Is Turnbull born to rule?
Yes he is....and he IS currently ruling as PM of Australia, so get over it guys!
You aren't running the country and neither is Abbott, thank goodness! Turnbull is.

Never have I seen such an unpopular PM as the too conservative holy Abbott.
He has dug his own grave and is now lying in it.
It seems there is way too much sour grapes on this thread.
