The national interest demands a double dissolution : Comments

By Syd Hickman, published 30/12/2015

The Coalition will probably win around 100 seats in the Reps, up from 90 now. That will leave the ALP in pathetic shape, sharing 50 seats with Greens and Independents.

Come on Sid, take off those inch thick rose coloured glasses, & have a real look at Turnbull. Hell even 579 can see Turnbull has done nothing but waffle, & try to set the scene to hand what little wealth we have left to his banker mates with a carbon trading scheme.

He is already pandering to his advertising agency, their ABC, & the only things he can claim as successful activities are the ones Tony Abbott had already set in train.

How you lot can fool yourselves so easily amazes me.

This bloke, if we are stupid enough to actually elect him, will do as much or more damage to us, & our economy, to feather his & his mates nests, as Rudd & Gillard did by accident by being such dumb fools.

Granted it would be difficult for him to do much more damage than Gillard did with her vindictive booby-trap acts with Gonski & the Disability insurance scheme, but he might just manage it.

Yes Gillard was a liar, but this bloke is a pathological liar, & anyone who can't see that in his carefully constructed waffle is too simple to recognise which way is up

Great idea Mr Opinion, they would have to be better than voting for the coalition, if it's still lead by Turnbull.

Hell, even Palmer would be better than Turnbull.

If we elect Turnbull, the yanks actually elect that proven failure Hillary Clinton, & with Europe full of Muslim invaders in the guise of refugees, the western world will definitely fail in the not too distant future.

All great civilisations have failed due to their accumulated stupidity, why should we be any different. Only so much stupidity can be overcome, & we are about at the "tipping point" the global warming scammers are always on about.

579,

You really have no clue. Don't confuse what you want with what is going to happen. I can't wait to see the deer in the headlights looks on the faces of the left whingers when after the election they realise that they have been mugged by reality.

Rhosty,

We intend to.

Lets attack the workers that will hurry up an election. Nothing better than attacking workers to get opinion going. At least Turnbull has negotiation skills and brains to know where the negotiations will go.
The only policie’s Abbott set in train were years in advance, it was always after the next election, which he swore blind he was going to win. Was he going to abolish voting.
Turnbull is the man of the moment, his popularity is through the roof, the majority rules. Only Abbott worshippers don’t like him, Turnbull is far to popular for them, better than Abbott groveling around in the seller pleasing only him self.
This Liberal govt; which is looking better everyday, with the demise of another 2 far right infiltrators. They would do well to eliminate that lot altogether, and be a real force of govt;. I do not believe julia Bishop was ever a far right winger, she just wanted the job.
Pine with his 100.000 $ degree’s is always going to be erratic, and needs a job on the back bench sweeping the floors. How can real policy be configured while you have religious persuasions involved. The separation of religion and government are crucial to any policy making.
I think that mugging by reality happened 3 months ago, when the roof of parliament fell in, remember that one. Reality only happens with the blessing of the voters, so you have to get that right for a start.
With the right mix of thoughtful policy Turnbull could have many happy years of politics in front of him at least he can explain what his policy is about, that way they can gauge fairness reaction. Or he can fluff it and Bill will fix it for him.

579,

My brain hurts trying to read the word salad of slogans and delusion that makes up your last post.

I wish you luck in the next elections and hope that Mr 14% comes to your rescue.

Notice how Turnbull keeps his distance from the treasures activities, at least away from himself making statements about finances. A good move , as the treasurer has to take responsibility of his own statements, it gives Turnbull room to shift him if something doesn’t add up.
Abbott’s royal commission was somewhat a fizzer, not nailing the main Duo it was supposed to. They came up with peripheral thugs and bullies, we didn’t need a royal commission to now that. Abbott’s own whistle blower Jackson is the main culprit labeled for criminal actions. The rest will fizzle out.
Voters of AU will see through Abbott’s Royal Commission as an attack on workers, and lead to other things. Two years of Royal Commission by Abbott for Abbott, not worth the expense. If there was anything other than thugs and bullies 2 years of commission should have found it. Should have been a police matter.
