The national interest demands a double dissolution : Comments

By Syd Hickman, published 30/12/2015

The Coalition will probably win around 100 seats in the Reps, up from 90 now. That will leave the ALP in pathetic shape, sharing 50 seats with Greens and Independents.

'In Turnbull we have the most capable Prime Minister since Hawke'

Dear oh dear Syd. Certainly showed he is capable of sleaze and undermining an elected PM when he could not even hold onto the leadership of the opposition. Up until now the only decent judgement Turnbull has shown is to keep the Abbott policies of no boats, no perverting marriage and no to the warmist alarmist taxing everyone. To compare Turnbull's spin with Howards achievements at this stage shows about as much discernment as those who championed Latham as a PM. Mind you he would of been much better than Rudd/Gillard/Rudd.

Turnbull has been very laid back in his approach to the PM’s position. He needs to actually put something in place so we can make some sort of judgment about him.
An election any time soon would cause a mountain of confusion as to what for.
By now Turnbull should have his policies sorted out, maybe he will tell us all about them shortly. More trench rats are leaving , which will create some more shifts. Brough has collapsed, now he can get others in trouble, no doubt Abbott if not the instigator of his troubles, will know all about it.
Just another year of frog swobble to wade through, with Abbott pushing buttons with every chance he gets. The word is he won’t survive an election, along with a few others of the far right.

I love to see the left whingers wallowing in their disillusions.

The truth is:

While Turnbull is not Abbott, MT is still the leader of the Liberals and as such will prosecute the policies of the liberal party, and while he will make minor modifications are 99% the same as the policies when TA was leader.

Secondly, the election in 2016 which I believe will probably be a DD election in the new year will clear out the PUP cockroaches that were elected on a conservative ticket that helped Labor and the greens block TA's economic reforms.

The DD election will be fought not on Labor's policies but on reforming the corrupt unions, with the weakened Shorten as exhibit No 1, and the unions' donations to the greens as a kicker.

There is a very good chance that the DD will deliver the coalition control of both houses and MT can unwind the stupid policies of labor that are crippling the economy.

The truth is: Turnbull is not Abbott. And that is where the truth stops.
I don’t know if that was worth 100 million $ The police could have done that for nothing. Now with years of court sessions to go a DD run on union corruption is somewhat premature. Gillard and Shorten was supposed to be in that line up. All we have heard so far is Dyson giving his opinion.
Brough will get his neck screwed and spill the beans all over Abbott. A plan that did not work to conspire.
Turnbull knows why he was installed as PM, and he will not be going to any sort of election this side of September.
Turnbull has a head between his shoulders, unlike others, and he is a smart man, he is enjoying himself. He has to get investment going with his innovation.
Implementation of Abbott’s policy’s will only happen after the Abbottizations have been abolished. Besides that the policie’s were not liberal party policy that was Abbott’s policy. That is why he got the asse

I can't wait until the next election. I'm going to give my senate vote to the Australian Muslim Party. That'll put a cat amongst the pigeons.
