A couple more references for you to re-refer.
The first is about how temperatures have been excessively high in Russia.
Quote:
"“Climate change leads to growth of dangerous meteorological phenomena,” the ministry said in a comment to the report published Friday.
There have been 569 such phenomena in Russia in 2014, “the largest since monitoring began,” the ministry said, including last year’s ravaging floods and this year’s “water deficit” east of Lake Baikal, which led to a “catastrophic rise in fires.”"

The second is about warming in the US, as with Russia, exceptionally unusual for their winter period.
Quote:
"AccuWeather is forecasting “record setting warmth up and down the entire Eastern Seaboard from Florida to Maine” on Thursday. It is not expected that New York and the rest of the East Coast will cool down before the end of the year. And the warmth and humidity are expected to cause storms, flooding and the potential for isolated tornadoes in the Midwest and South."
