I think the root of the problem is that Malaysia has a racist policy of giving university places to ETHNIC MALAYS on a rigid quota system.

While ETHNIC CHINESE and INDIAN Malaysians generally have to study overseas in Australia, the US and UK.

As the ethnic CHINESE and INDIANS generally have higher marks there is a brain drain out of Malaysia.

Many of the problems the author identifies are due to these racist Malaysian Government policies.

However the Malysian Government's policies that reduce Islamic extremism in Malaysian Universities are sound.

well I suppose when we allow free speach and proper analysis in our own uni's we can complain about others. The group think on gw, homosexual matters, feminism, socialism and Christ hating is about as bad as it gets when it comes to non thinking here in Australia.
