What the US and its allies are trying to accomplish is no less than the reversal of political hostilities that have marginalized Iran for over thirty years and fueled hostility across the region.

You are right.

As Da'esh/ISIL/ISIS recognises no borders, neither should the West, IF the West is dinkum in its fight against them and erasing their presence.

If however the Obama led West is engaged in a Clayton's like battle, then it's probably best the USAF returned its few aircraft back to their hangers and admit defeat sooner rather than later.

The Appeaser-in-Chief can then move on to his next defeat and continue on his quest to make the United States the irrelevant nation he so desperately seeks.
