By Ioan Voicu, published 23/6/2015

The international community has a role to play in national disaster relief. Leaving it to the locals is not good enough.

I think you'd do better than preaching to the converted, Loan.

We punch well above our weight when it come to disaster relief, be it a near neighbor or in the earthquake regions of China!

The only thing we need to do, I believe, is become much more self sufficient and far less reliant on foreigners for either energy or defense!

Both of which need some serious upgrading, given what seems to be occurring in our neighborhood?

Now that's where we need to get really serious and ASAP!

There 's an expression which seems appropriate; hope for the best but prepare for the worst!

And in that context, relying on fully imported fuel seems crazy; or what one might expect if the inmates had taken over and were running the asylum?

Come on Graham.

We really don't need any more articles by gravy train riding academics pushing the global warming scam before the Parris talkfest.
