By Maria Chisari, published 17/6/2015

What we are witnessing is a reconfiguring of the Muslim migrant not only as someone who does not respect our values but now as someone who wants to destroy us.

Agree with BAZZ, and just don't see said reconfiguration; just an overdue expose?

Typical self-contradictory leftwing academic.

Young Australians of Muslim parents, subjected to all the usual compulsory government indoctrination of children about Australian values, decide to go off and join the orgy of beheadings and crucifixions of innocent people.

And all this idiot can do is blame the government of Australia.

//No they are not being changed, they have always been determined to
change this country to an Islamic state.//

They're not doing a very good job, are they? After 155 years you might have expected to see some progress. I reckon their heart's just not in it.

Toni, their increasing numbers and the pressure that brings is step
by step making changes. Note how some schools bend over backwards not
to offend their sensitivities.
There have been plenty of examples which you must have seen published.

I believe all are entitled to their rights including religion, within reason, as long asit is not shoved in ones faced.

Dear Maria. The western world has a problem with Islamic terrorism, and it is getting worse. We have gone beyond importing people who want to kill us and destroy our civilisation, to now having home grown Jihadis who want to spread Islam by killing the infidels, just as Allah instructed.

Most people know that you can't fight terrorism with the sort of laws that were originally gazetted for a monocultural, liberal society with a high degree of social cohesion. This is the multicultural society which you dreamed about, so you can hardly complain when it turns into a nightmare and we have to scale back our civil liberties to defend ourselves.

Your premise, that it is all just an exaggeration from politicians intent upon creating a totalitarian state, has some problems with it. The first is, that most people are sensible enough to understand that when it comes to people who will do anything to mass murder non believers as a way of getting into paradise you can't rely upon old laws which quite rightly assumed that nobody would be that mad to think that way.

The second is, that just in case you have not noticed it, the problem of internal terrorism involving Muslims is getting worse. We now have 160 "Australians" fighting against Australian troops in Iraq. Fortunately, 35 of them have been killed. Another 400 have had their passports refused, confiscated, or have been pulled off airliners for trying to join them. Sheik al Hilaly claims that there are "thousands" more who want to join up with the terrorists.

The proposal to strip dual nationals who are actively at war with us of Australian citizenship is so sensible that only a person who's brain has been debilitated by inhabiting the cloistered world of academia can not recognise it.

I would like to personally thank you for stuffing up my country with your multiculturalism. Why don't you just shut up and hang your head in shame while our politicians try and fix the mess that people like you created?
