Haigh's idea of a scholarship is very good. The decision by the two un-lamented drug smugglers was only 'stupid' in retrospect.
Had they not been caught then their actions would have led to much personal gain and they would, undoubtedly, have made the decision to try it again.

Their decision to engage in drug smuggling was well thought out, well planned and well executed, the only fly in the ointment was a concerned parent of one of the mules and the AFP when they passed the info on to the Indonesians..
