By David Singer, published 4/11/2014

Sweden must understand that relations in the Middle East are much more complicated than self-assembly furniture at Ikea.

Now let me see if I have this right David? I live on land that has millions of native Aboriginals buried in it!
Therefore it's their land?
Yes I know, I paid a pretty penny for it and have title deeds.
Even so, those whose forbears are buried in the land should be the rightful owners?
David has essentially said so, and with the backing of three eminent international lawyers.
So, I should be able to return to my historical homeland, after an absence of just two hundred years; and far less than the thousand years Davids clams doesn't end birthright!
And not only claim back historical Irish land and or Scottish land, but defend my right to move in and "occupy" it with a gun, with which I'm entitled to murder all who come to try and remove me!
Because that's essentially what the new Jewish settlers, through David, are saying, as they try to hold on to patently purloined property.
It may not be of much moment, but at least as many Palestinians (also sons and daughters of Abraham) are buried in that land, and without the thousand year interruption, of the now squatting Jews!
Perhaps if a few more nations would follow the Swedish example, we could get these issue settled?
Or should we just wait until the USA has had enough already; and withdraws all military and economic support? Or better yet, offers it instead to the dispossessed Palestinians!?
Which no doubt would lead to a hasty settlement of this dispute, by might is right, Jewish carpet baggers.

I've been following postings from the Middle East Forum, a Zionist think tank in Washington which, like the postings from David Singer, is becoming increasingly shrill about the world's inexorable loss of patience with Zionism's dangerous, racist experimental enclave in Palestine. Middle East Forum's most persistent recent focus is on Turkey which has been disappointing the Zionists big time.

The recent transfer of Zionist hatred to Sweden continues a story that dates at least as far back as 1948 when the Zionists murdered UN envoy Count Folke Bernadotte of Sweden, who had distinguished himself during the war by saving countless Jews from the German death squads. Swedish recognition of the state of Palestine last week is a challenge to the rest of the countries of the EU and ultimately to America.

David Singer is reduced to his pitiful and persistent plea that the documented dictates of the colonialists in the 20s and 30s constitute "international law".

The tragedy awaiting Zionism is that Jews will always be a minority wherever and whenever they are, and it is in the nature of mankind that in times of great adversity minorities are picked to serve as scapegoats.
The question David, and the extreme blend of oppressive Zionism currently holding sway in Israel/Palestine, want to ask is when that tide turns, where in the moral landscape will you attempt to stand given your actions today?

Times sure are changing:
1.Libya a total mess
2.Syria - over 200000 deaths in the last three years and three million refugees with many more millions internally displaced
3.Iraq - Hundreds of thousands murdered and dispersed - Christians, Moslems - Shiite and Sunni - Yazidis
4. Islamic State - occupying an area of Syria and Iraq larger than Great Britain
5. Gaza - Egypt destroying as many as 800 houses and displacing up to 10,000 people to eliminate “terrorist hotbeds” since last Wednesday
6. Nigeria - chaos and mayhem as Boko Haram continues its murderous rampage
7. 60+ Pakistan civilians killed by suicide bomber this weekend
8. Separatist Governments in parts of sovereign Ukraine

I am certainly awake and have written about many of the above developments.

Are you awake? Do you care? Or are you so blinded by your Jew-hatred that you cannot see what is happening before your very eyes?

#Rhrosty

You poor ignorant soul.

Aren't you aware that the right of Jews to reconstitute the Jewish National Home in Palestine was legally authorized by unanimous decision of all 51 member States of the League of Nations in 1922 as part of a package deal which saw the other 99.99% of Ottoman lands captured in World War 1 set aside for Arab self-determination?

Be a good boy and do your homework by reading the Mandate:
http://www.fordham.edu/halsall/mod/1922mandate.html

Come back and ask any questions when you have done so.

#Emperor Julian

You state:
"David Singer is reduced to his pitiful and persistent plea that the documented dictates of the colonialists in the 20s and 30s constitute "international law".

You are correct - except they were not "dictates" - but proposals agreed to be implemented by all 51 member states of the League of Nations - who even you could not seriously call "colonialists".

The Mandate is binding in international law.

What do you say?

#halduell

The Jews are not a minority in Israel. What kind of rubbish are you sprouting?

One Jewish State in a world containing 58 Islamic States seems too much for you to stomach.

David Singer’s ingrained racism shows through yet again in his latest reply.

*The “Jewish National Home”, on land stolen in an orgy of brutal ethnic cleansing if the Pentateuch is to be believed, had no legitimacy then and was not able to be “reconstituted”

*There was not a single Palestinian or even Arab representative among the 51 states cobbled together by the British Empire into a “League of Nations” in the 1920s. The following colonial nations were represented (indeed dominated): Britain and its various fiefdoms, France, Belgium, Holland, Italy, Portugal, Spain. This bunch of foreigners dictated the allocation of the Ottoman territory, the homeland of those born to it. That’s the so-called “Mandate”.

*Jews were indeed a minority in the territory grandly given away by the colonialists in their fraudulent “Mandate” – and still are (not that that really matters as everyone born in the territory has a right to a place in it, as a legal equal to everyone else but not of course as an overlord).

Telling one tenth of the story is typical of the misleading comments you consistently post.

The 51 member states of the League of Nations were:
Albania, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, British India, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, El Salvador, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Italy, Japan, Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes, Latvia, Liberia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Persia, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Republic of China, Romania, Siam, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Union of South Africa, United Kingdom, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

The "bunch of foreigners" (including Australia) - so demeaningly described by you - had suffered greatly in liberating the Arabs from 400 years of Ottoman rule

99.99% of the captured Ottoman Empire territory was set aside for Arab self determination and just 0.01% for Jewish self determination.

Yes - just 0.01% of the captured Ottoman territories "grandly given away" (as you misleadingly state) by the League of Nations for the Jews to legally "reconstitute" the Jewish National Home on the site of its ancient biblical and historical homeland.

The Arabs were represented at the Paris Peace Conference where these decisions were made - led by Emir Feisal with T.E. Lawrence there as interpreter.

Do you think they failed because they only got promises for 99.99% of the captured Ottoman territories and not 100%?

Those decisions resulted in the Mandates for Palestine, Syria and Lebanon, and Mesopotamia.

The Arab's refusal to accept these legally binding decisions continues to be the stumbling block to ending the Jewish-Arab conflict.

Trying to tear up 90 years of established international law has proved a recipe for one continuing Arab disaster after the next - including 1922,1937,1947,between 1948-1967, 1967,1970, 1973,2000/2001, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2012,2014. - the list is really endless.

For what? A piece of land one third the size of Tasmania and the elimination of all the Jews that live there.

Keep spewing your hate - but at least have the guts to tell the whole story - not some highly misleading and distorted concoction of your sick Jew-hating mind.

Well said, Arjay (Posted Tuesday, 4 November 2014 9:27:07 PM).
The question of the demographic breakdown in Israel/Palestine is somewhat open to interpretation. Are Jewish citizens of Israel currently not living there counted in the number of Jews, and are the Palestinians currently not living there counted in the number of Palestinians?
I do wonder why Israel throws a hissy fit when Palestine is recognised as a separate state. The alternative is one state ruled by one person/one vote. If that ever happens the numbers will have a story to tell.
South Africa showed the world how to manage that transition. The apartheid regime there was brave enough. Are the Zionists?

Israel will go the way of the crusader city states and for the same reason. They weren't sustainable and neither is Israel. When the money dries up from outside, especially US sources, they will wither and be over run. It won't be pretty but they have taught their opponents well.

Singer you have no credibility at all when you quote "international law" and anything to do with the UN. Considering the number of "international laws" israel disregards and the number of times it has completely ignored UN directives and resolutions it is just laughable.
israel is the worlds worst offender against "international law" and human rights and everyone knows it. We have seen it over and over again.

Stick to justifying your filthy treatment of your neighbors by your racist god and his murderous aims for his "children". At least it is more honest and avoids the need for all your slippery weaselness singer.

Sweden, as usual, leads the way but dont worry singer it is only the beginning. Many more countries will recognise the Palestinians and place sanctions on israel. The violence and oppression has become too blatant and too extreme. You only have yourselves to blame israel.

The end is nigh for the zionist invaders and the sad, repetitive bleatings of singer and his ilk will go the way of the Dodo.
Unlike Ikea, which will undoubtedly last longer than the idiotic, murderous, godbothering, theocracy called israel.
Well done Sweden.

Comical Dave writing about Sweden perverting international law.

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

I know getting Israeli to respect international law would be way over the top, but it would be nice if Israel didn't actually target UN workers during their little killing sprees ever 4 years or so.

That would be a start.

But for a Zionist to talk about international law just proves why there is no point in dialogue.

If Iran gets the bomb Israel will listen. Zionists only understand force. It would be a great move for peace in the ME. Only then will zionists make peace with their neighbours. And Jews and Palestinians will live peacefully together in a single state.

Think you all need a dose of the following good news from Israel as you continue to spurn and reject international law whilst repetitively spewing out your never-ending tirade of hatred towards Jews living in Israel:

1. A groundbreaking robotic catheterization procedure has been developed by two Israelis.

2. Two Israeli baby-food executives have developed a new vegetable-based product called INDI (Innovative Non Dairy Infant formula). It provides a solution for babies who cannot tolerate cows milk. It also doesn’t contain soy, which can affect a baby’s hormones.

3. Health workers in West Africa have used the Israeli app Snapp to build a website containing essential details about preventing the spread of Ebola. “About Ebola” is the first Android app written in the Jola / Diola language and around 5,000 copies have been downloaded.

4. Israel’s Adi Altschuler has been named one of Time magazine’s six “Next Generation Leaders” through the establishment of Krembo Wings, a nationwide youth movement that runs after-school activities for children with disabilities.

5. A group of trauma therapists and sufferers from Northern Ireland recently came to see the world-famous Trauma centers of Israel at work. Northern Ireland Assembly member, Michael Copeland, said it was “one of the most moving experiences of my life”.

6. Israel’s Afimilk project in Vietnam is the largest dairy farm project in the world.

7. Industrial designers Oded Marcus and Shaul Cohen welcome students and studios - and the general public - to come inside their new 3D Factory in Tel Aviv to check out the cutting-edge three-dimensional printers and what they can make.

8. Israel’s Seatylock is a neat way to carry around the lock for your bicycle, without you needing to take on any unnecessary extra weight.

9. Intel is launching its new Israel-developed Core M computer processor chips and already planning the release of its successor – the SkyLake, also designed in Israel.

Hope you applaud these achievements and don't choke on your cornflakes.

David,

I freely admit that I mainly read your articles in the hope that LEGO will have something amusing to say in your defense, and rarely respond myself, although always agreeing with you.

Where are you, LEGO?

The greatest danger to the free (Western?) world today, by far, is the spread of Islam. Sweden has, in the last 50 years or so, imported the Islamic problem, along with many other European countries, and may now find it necessary to act in accordance with the wishes of it's growing militant Islamic population. It's not the Jews who will detonate car bombs in Malmo or Stockholm if they're unhappy!

The Global Islamic population is approximately 1,200,000,000; almost 20% of the world's population. In total, they have received seven Nobel Prizes. The Jews, at about 0.02% of the population, have received 129 Nobel prizes.

The Jews don't brainwash children in military training camps; they don't hijack planes, or kill Olympic athletes, or blow themselves up in German restaurants. They are just more civilized than Muslims. They don't protest by killing people, they don't traffic slaves, nor have leaders calling for Jihad and death to all the Infidels.

Perhaps the world's Muslims could consider investing more in education and less in blaming the Jews for all their problems. At present they are proving to be a blight on humanity! Regardless of one's personal feelings about the crisis between Israel and their Arab neighbors, even if you believe there is more culpability on Israel's part, the following two sentences really say it all:

"If the Arabs disarmed today, there would be no more violence. If the Jews disarmed, they would all die."

Comforting to know there is a silent majority of at least one out there who is not prepared to cop the Jew-hatred venomously dished out by the six or so Jew-haters who regularly stalk my weekly columns which provide them with the opportunity to pour out their vitriolic bile against Jews.

You are 100% correct in your comments.

I wrote to the Swedish Foreign Minister seeking her response to this article. There has been a deafening silence so far.

Sweden's claim to rely on international law has been exposed by my article as a giant hoax.

The Swedish Foreign Minister hasn't got the guts to justify her decision in the face of the claims made in my article.

You state: "Sweden has, in the last 50 years or so, imported the Islamic problem, along with many other European countries, and may now find it necessary to act in accordance with the wishes of it's growing militant Islamic population."

I hesitate to assert that Sweden has responded to its growing militant Islamic population in making the farcical decision to recognise the "State of Palestine" - without some factual proof.

However the longer a reply is forthcoming from Sweden - the more likely your claim could be seen to be the prime mover in Sweden's decision.
