Afghans subjected to the label of 'queue jumper' will be puzzled by the leap made by those warm with Australian Defence personnel.

Memories flood back of the Vietnam war and the many Aussie interpreters that were left behind to an uncertain fate.

Personally I think it is good that they have allowed them entry because the Taliban will not be kind when they retake power.

It must irk you beyond all reason that TA got this particular job done?
I find it amazing that you ignore the fact that every year Australia takes thousands of refugees and looks after them. What exactly do you want? How many million should come here until we are overwhelmed and reduced to the absolute rubbish these people are fleeing from?
Most of your fellow Australians are glad this nonsense is stopped and if it upsets you. then go join these wonderful people in their homes. See what welcome awaits you.

Binoy Kampmark "Afghans subjected to the withering, and fictitious label, of "queue jumper" will no doubt be puzzled by the momentous leap made by those warm with Australian Defence personnel."

Puzzled?

They put their lives at risk fighting a totalitarian regime.

You ran away like a coward and tried to sneak in with no papers, hoping to disappear into the ghetto unnoticed.

What's there to be puzzled about?
