By Paul Budde, published 6/5/2014

If we fail to significantly improve integration of ICT into the SDGs, those SDGs will fail like the businesses that are not using digital productivity are failing.

The article appears to be an article for experts concerning the unexplained acronym "ICT". Why bother?

But, plantagenet, it IS an excellent example of how a wrong-headed government's commitment to 'sustainability' can be parlayed by smart operators like Paul Budde into a high-pressure money hose, available on tap.

Was there ever a grant proposal that couldn't be linked to 'sustainability', I wonder?

Dear Mr Budde,

Would you kindly translate your article into English? We have NO idea what you are talking about.

Yours sincerely,

The Readers.

Okay, if all you say is true, what to do about it?
The current PM will be the first to admit, he's no tech head!
And he is among a similar group of critical decision makers, who needs to be walked through this, almost as if they'd never heard the term, ICT assisted SDG's.
Some will even advise, if you don't understand it, don't invest in it!
That said, the NBN, is already earning the domestic economy, more money than the iron ore industry, yet the only proposal on the table, is to mix and match, or emasculate it!
Lots of luck, with something even more technical!
Rhrosty.

Relax, people.

This is one of those spoof articles, consisting principally of of made-up TLAs (three letter acronyms) in different contexts, and studded with empty long grey phrases such as "a critical and strategic tool by those using these tools to deliver better and cheaper outcomes", and - my favourite - "High-level strategic presentations, workshops and other activities can inform, educate and assist management to develop the appropriate high-level policies and strategies."

If you take any of it seriously, you can be sure that the author is watching somewhere, holding his sides in unconstrained mirth at your endless gullibility.
