Well the Balkanization of Syria into 10-15 conflicting micro-states certainly has merit in weakening Syria into a tool of Israel and the rest of the West.

But why stop at 15. If one returns the 1,000,000 Bedouin (you saw them in "Lawrence of Arabia") living in Syria to their original 35 tribal lands you could have 50 microstates in Syria waiting for foreign domination. Problem solved - although it is Syrians who would suffer.

I agree with this author that multiculturalism obviously does not work and the only solution outside of genocide is for any country cursed with multiculturalism to break up into monocultural states.

But you see, there is a problem there.

Those people and cultures who are intelligent and who have a culture which embraces science, education, the rule of law, and secular government, will then create a successful mini state (like Israel). Those cultures who are stupid,and who do not believe in secular government, reject science, and who revel in their tribal divisiveness will then descend into crushing poverty and total dysfunction.

Their solution will be to then barge into the successful societies claiming "asylum" and then make the smart people support them while they plot to make the successful society into what they escaped from.

And yet we continue naively skipping down the multicoloured brick road to the promised Multopia.
