If one wants to revisit history, and see who was dealt the most injustice or taught to hate each other the most, one doesn't need go past the annexing of Ireland or Scotland; or the highland clearances!
Or the acquisition of Irish property, via extremely onerous religious tithes by the church of England! Or via the release of the black and tans, who quite literally murdered or raped their way across southern Ireland.
Firebrand preachers, not unlike an evangelizing and patently partisan John Pilger, did nothing but harm, stirring up the hate, and only ever succeeded in adding immensely to the death toll.
Two, divide and rule hateful wrongs can never ever equate to a right, nor can the pages of history, once accurately recorded, ever be erased.
Blowing up or bombing unarmed non combatant civilians is not only the very worst example of extreme cowardice, but is entirely counter productive, with an even larger longer list of blood debt grievances to be readdressed!
As if that were ever actually possible!
Simply put, the Middle East and Somalia and too many places between, could do worse than emulate South Africa's truth and reconciliation commission, and having told their stories, set about ensuring they never ever occur again to anyone else; or ever again.
China learned from Japan's post war example, that there is a bloodless way to get what you covet! Just buy it or the affection of those who currently hold it!
As for the drones, may they continue to fly, until no child can be shot in the head on her way to school, simply for PEACEFULLY advocating on behalf of some of the most disadvantaged peoples on earth; Muslim women!
