Pilger speaks the truth. Bradley Manning is the real deal. I'm suspicious of both Snowden and Assange because they are Corporate Media darlings who really tell us little new of what we did not already know or suspect.
There are many other more credible whistle blowers who have been ignored like Susan Lindaur ex CIA. Susan was the first non Arab to be arrested under Bush's patriot act. Also Siebel Edmonds an FBI translator who revealed the lies of 911. Posted by Arjay, Friday, 9 August 2013 9:29:37 PM

Arjay-- You did see Osama Bin Laden admit to the 911 attacks on television
How do you account for that? Bradley Manning doesn’t look very strong to me. He looks as though he couldn’t handle being a soldier without breaking down. He looks like he might need some kind of Psychologist help. That's the impression I get of him. I don't think he really understood the serious position he was putting himself into, I don't think Julian Assange understood it properly either. They seem to have no idea that America is actually at war. And the leaking of classified documents like that, especially by a serving soldier would have very serious consequences. They are confusing peace time protest which is a bit of a lark and adventure for students and hippie types with a country that has been attacked, 911, and is involved in deadly warfare. They are a lot like children in their simplistic views of what they are dealing with and their ability to change it. Don't we wish we could all change humankind with the blow of a whistle, (whistleblower)in reality, we can't. Posted by CHERFUL, Friday, 9 August 2013 10:34:25 PM

BM is not an investigative reporter, he is dealing with state secrets. His first duty would be to bring this to the attention of internal justice mechanisms within the army, before going to the press, and then restricting this to relevant information. Sending out all diplomatic correspondence has no excuse.
Whatever good he has done, he still deserves a few decades of prison. Posted by Shadow Minister, Saturday, 10 August 2013 11:08:48 AM

Cherful Bradley Manning has been held in solitary confinement. This is torture. You wouldn't look too confident either after doing solitary.
Osama Bin Laden was an agent of the USA with the Mujahadeen. You can see pictures of him and Zibigniew Brezezinski in the 1980's working together to oust the USSR from Afghanistan. Al Qaeda is a CIA creation and they make up the present opposition in Syria fighting Assad. See http://www.ae911truth.org/ and http://patriotsquestion911.com/ On both these sites you will see thousands of professionals questioning the very rubbery and unbelievable official conspiracy theory. All 3 towers came down at near freefall speeds which defies the laws of physics. Posted by Arjay, Saturday, 10 August 2013 3:21:10 PM

My determination to place the Wikileaks Party No. 1 in my Senate vote has been challenged only by the Secular Party that I didn't know about until its ads appeared in On Line Opinion.
However to rate the world's whistleblowers on the combination of courage and historical significance for decency, Mordechai Vanunu would have to head the list. The Wikipedia entry [1] on this remarkable human being tells an inspiring story. His unwavering adherence to principle even led him to ask the Nobel Peace Prize Committee in 2009 to withdraw him from the list of nominations as he could not share a position with Shimon Peres who was behind the Zionist nuclear weapons policy. His persistent pleas to the Zionist "government" to repudiate his Israeli citizenship have not yet been successful. The only whistleblower to match Vanunu for significance would (hopefully will) be whatever insider manages to leak the true story of the "9/11" WTC murders. OH please!JOHN, You don’t think some Russian agents aren’t having Snowden in for a few chats about what information he can give them.
They are not letting him stay in Russia because they like him. To think they won’t interrogate him, be it in ever a so subtle blackmailing way,
like, “you give us some information and you are welcome to stay in Russia for a year”, is just being
ridiculously naive.
He seems to be a computer nerd of some ability, you think they won’t pick his brains on computer knowhow?
Even if they give him a job with a plant who befriends him and learns all he knows about computers.
How stupid do you think Putin is, obviously not half as stupid as John Pilger.
It just proves our potential enemys love him and use him.
That proves he is a traitor and not a whistleblower
but like Julian Assange, Bradley Manning, and John Pilger
he just can't understand the difference.
