One of my “original thoughts” was that with the values and attitudes that you have, you are either a Muslim or an Artz grad. Thank you for proving my “original thought’ stereotype was accurate.
And it is also nice to see that you are conforming to the stereotype of the typical Artz grad, you are a “citizen of the world”. Concepts such as nationalism and patriotism are no longer in fashion with your lot. You choose the identifying causes which define your Brahmin caste identity like you choose shirts from a clothing catalogue.
The only problem with being a western self loather like your goodself, is that I notice that when you went to live in other countries, you stayed within the safety of the Anglosphere. You may think that Muslims are “kind, generous and humble”, but you prefer not to live with them. Too dangerous, eh? Much safer to live amongst your own kith and kin where you can display your impeccable left wing social regressive credentials by putting the boot into your own people and their allies.
I read Janet Albrechtson, Paul Sheehan, Anne Coulter, and Mark Steyne, because for too long, the western media was infested with the values of the western Artz grad types who loathed the societies they chose to live in. What we are getting today is a bit of balance, and don’t you lefties hate it? The reason was pure economics. The people in western society who are productive and who pay for the media got fed up of being force fed the left wing party line.
The times they are a changin’, David. Your own successful civilization which has led the world for 400 years, and has become the model of what a modern, prosperous society is, is now at war with a fascist religion and it’s adherents. You had better forget your fashionable views and choose the right side.
Finally, I have left Australia. I spent a week in Tassie, once.
