Southern Thailand is so culturally fragmented that negotiations with the government are doomed to be difficult.

Looks like another country is having a few problems with the "Religion of Peace."

Ain't multiculturalism, grand?

So, now Thailand can join Lebanon, Fiji, Cyprus, Georgia, Afghanistan, Biafra, Rhodesia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Sri Lanka, Syria, Libya, Bangladesh, Liberia, Kashmir, Punjab, Sudan, Nigeria, France, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Holland, Bougainville, East Timor, Yugoslavia, Kurdistan, New Zealand, Bhutan, Angola, Burma, Chechnya, The Solomon's, Aden, Malaya, Oman, Congo, Northern Ireland, Palestine/Israel, Czechoslovakia, Mexico, Spain, Cronulla, Fort Hood, Boston and London, in proving that mixing different races and cultures together is a very bad idea.

"multiculturalism in this country has been a roaring success" = In the minds of people who are in denial.

Also. do gooders, refugee advocates, lawyers who have there nose in the public trough, highly paid executives of the charities, Serco and not forgetting the people smugglers.

Indeed PHILIP S, you too are spot on ! They're ever complaining that much of our industry is going off shore ? Well, illegal boat people is yet another burgeoning industry, with boat loads arriving daily ? Isn't that a lucrative industry, we as a nation could obtain some distinct benefit from ? Surely we can get that right ?

Right, we are averaging 110 people per day, and 2,000 per month being released into the community.

Say 4 per house that equates to 500 homes per month being made unavailable for Australians, plus puts upward pressure on rental prices.

The Government wonders why the number of homeless is rising.

Fragmentation? Don't you mean "cultural diversity"?
Why is this a problem?
Just send a delegation of Western progressives, armed with pretty propaganda posters of smiling people of every race (no mixed race images, of course), wag a few wingers at any "racist" dissenters and presto! Utopia Achieved.
