I am not sure why you are defending China? Surely an illegal invasion of Tibet should not be sanctioned, nor increasing tensions towards Japan and Taiwan over territorial matters. The US is the worst offender of other people's rights but China and other nations who do similar (either via economic or military might) don't get a free pass just because there is an even greater offender. Pelican we have have to keep a balance of power on the planet.Currently the West owned by he Banking Military Industrial complex has far too much power.Their "New World Order" will be a nightmare for all people on this planet.
Henry Kissenger,John Holdren (Obama's head of science)Maurice Stong( ex secretary of the UN) and many others wnat to reduce the world's pop by 90%.We won't have a vote in their New World Order just like we are not having a say in the UN's Agenda 21 which wants to strip us of all property rights or any real control over our country.Look how this Agenda 21 under the lie of sustainability is killing our farmers. This is affecting our food security. China may not be a beacon of freedom but their Govt via Govt Banks creates 80% of their new money either debt free or as a tax credit while we in the West are slaves to a private creation debt money system. This is why China can have 9-12% growth. The more growth we have in the West, the more debt we incur. Posted by Arjay, Monday, 18 March 2013 6:53:15 AM

Somewhat crude, but Socialist countries are very adept at burying the evidence and yes, no doubt some of it was lead poisoning. More obscuration and support for such governments again; reminds me of the Lefty outrage about suggesting Pol Pot had a popularity problem.
China is a murderous Coloniser and apparently has your support, Government imposed starvation in in N Korea is only possible because of subsidies of the Elite from China. Australia is flooded by facile Educational / Union / Bureaucrat complex propaganda which needs to be held up to the derision it deserves. Posted by McCackie, Monday, 18 March 2013 8:18:06 AM

>>Thousands run over by tanks, MacKackie?
In your wet dreams. Why don't you get a life?<< Really David? According to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiananmen_Square_protests_of_1989 >>The crackdown initiated on June 3–4 became known as the Tiananmen Square Massacre or the June 4 Massacre as troops with assault rifles and tanks inflicted thousands of casualties on unarmed civilians.<< So either A) McCackie, wikipedia, me and lot of other people besides are wrong and you are right: the Tiananmen Square Massacre never took place. It was all faked by the US Government - filmed on the very same soundstage they used to film the 'moon landings'. The Chinese Government never murdered thousands of its own citizens with tanks because they are nice people and would never do anything like that. B) You're making up fanciful stories when the known facts don't support your 'America is the Great Satan' fanaticism. Again. You might want to make up fanciful stories that aren't so easy to fact-check. Which of those seems more likely to you? I'm leaning heavily towards B - A seems rather far-fetched to me.
