We need to know a lot more about the TPP and all the other "partnerships" organsied by USA.
In October this year Green Parties of Australia, Canada, and New Zealand and USA issued a “Joint Statement on Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement” that strongly criticizes the proposed international trade pact. “The Trans-Pacific Partnership, which was negotiated in secret by the Obama Administration, is meant to privilege corporate profits and enhance corporate power in the nations that rim the Pacific"Joint Statement on Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement http://www.greenparty.ca/statement/2012-08-21/joint-statement-trans-pacific-partnership-agreement Posted by Noel.Wauchope, Wednesday, 28 November 2012 11:07:11 AM

'China’s indignant response to Obama’s Asian pivot even led political science professor Robert Ross of Boston College to call it “unnecessary and counterproductive” in the pages of Foreign Affairs. “We’re stoking the fires of nationalism. No great power could be expected to sit there and benignly accept changes in the status quo that undermine its security,” Ross reiterated to theWall Street Journal.'
'Unnecessary and counterproductive'? What dunderheaded nonsense! If the rest of Europe and the Unuited States had stood up to Hitler early in the 1930s WWII would have been averted. China and Chinese people are expansionist and highly invasive, as Hitler and Germany was. The time to stand up to China is RIGHT NOW, not after they have 'developed' the Ord River with 60,000 of their own people . . . wake up Australia, wake up! So we in the West have moved on from demonising the Muslims to the Chinese. Why? Well China and Russia have stood up against Western Imperialism driven by our Banking Military Industrial Complex.
China let the private Western Banks into their economy for a while so they could absorb our technology. In 2008 with the GFC China would not let their people be enslaved like us.China via Govt banks produces 80% of new money debt free. This is another reason why they can grow at 8-12% pa while the West languishes in debt. Our inflation + growth gets expressed as debt by the private banking system. This is why the West is stuffed. This does not make the elites of China/Russia morally above our criminals. At the moment they are the lesser of many evils. They all seek global domination in which we the people will have no say.We don't have a democracy since our owners control our Govts. In other words, the most dynamic region of the world, working as an independent unit that requires little from the rest of the world to thrive...
...while still maintaining its cultural and language difference that they take so much pride in(excld women)...
...and has the military might to defend itself from any threat from within and without...
Imagine...
we have come a long way from time when the western civilization looked upon gunpowder created by the Chinese for only entertainment purposes(fireworks)... western minds only wanted superior power...took it back to Europe and forged metal tubes with metal projectiles and called it guns and cannons...a superior weapon of the time...and used it to dominate the rest of the world whom still using manual hand weapons...Americans only had to fire their cannons over Imperial Edo palace of Japan, for the Shogun to bend down and capitulate to the american orchestrated meiji restoration...japanese 'democracy' so to say, or essentially external control of japan using a fallacy called democratic government of japan...and most of the world too...
now there is no such superior weapon...so it seems deceit is the now the only weapon...america is trying to put itself between all asian countries portraying itself as whatever that will help keep its power over other...and I suppose this will work as long as energy resources hold out...but time is coming when only the most lean and energy efficient countries will survive...and I hope we in Australia can step up and be different to other western countries by being less consuming and more creative for future survival...
