Well there are differences, and very little comparison!
For starters, evidentially Obama isn't a psychopath/compulsive liar, addicted to power, or wars paid for with the credit card?
Moreover, he has an half completed exit strategy, for removing America from all their current armed conflicts.
The super spending spree on black Friday; and or, pre the thanksgiving holiday, is also encouraging, almost as if the average American trusts Obama and his policy mix, to led them down a consumer led recovery path?
All he proposes is very affordable, but only if those who actually want a recovery, have the testicular fortitude, to completely repeal all forms of welfare/tax breaks exclusively for the rich, inclusive of the farm bill and the no longer needed, food production subsidies!
I mean, the next boom, will be a food boom!
The only threat to a progressive recovery, are the tea party types and their, broken record rhetoric, [NOOOOOOO, NOOOOOO, NEVAAAAAAAAA,] moribund metal abilities?

Another unique factor re Barack Obama is that he has been and is the most threatened Prez in USA history. Which is to say that ever since he was first elected, and even during his first campaign, he has received many death potential threats. Even up to 30 a day, each of which has to be followed up by a very over stretched secret service.

Part of the same syndrome was the huge increase in gun sales when he was first elected, and again this time. The re-emergence of the various gun toting right wing militias. And the posting of various signs including advertising bill-boards suggesting that Obama had(has) to be taken out.
