Iran has not made war on another country since the 1700s. [They had to defend themselves against the USA supported Iraqi attacks.] As theocracies go, they're very tough on their own dissidents [No different from the Roman Catholics and Calvinists of Europe not that long ago] but better than their almost neighbours, the theocracy of Israel, whose injustices and crimes against the original inhabitants of that land must rank among the great crimes of human history. We of the western alliance should realise we are all victims of propaganda, and we are not the good guys in all this. We are the ones instigating wars for commercial gain. We are the ones killing, maiming and rendering homeless and despaired hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians. We are the ones who laid the land mines all over SE Asia that continue to maim and kill innocent children and farmers. We are the ones whose depleted uranium is making hundreds of thousands of our victims sick. We are the people whose sanctions against the innocent of Iraq caused the deaths of a million children... We are not the good guys, we are the victors - and our propaganda aims to keep it that way by maintaining our ignorance.
