Greg, you are spot on. It is reprehensible that the S-G's advice is not available to the legislators and the public for scrutiny. It is all part of the Green/Labor plan to stifle debate on this issue and push it through before they inevitably lose power at the next election. Just look how quickly the bill was introduced and passed in the lower house - no opportunity for the public to have any input on this very important issue.
