These functions are quite different from having an outlook, holding an opinion, maintaining a bias or wearing spectacles of whatever tint. Completely different categories.

We all can, do and should have an opinion. But we are not entitled to fabricate, misrepresent and lie, are we?

What about the fact then that we don't hear of former refugees joining up with the allied forces & go back to their home countries & help restore order. No, they're quite happy to let others take all the risks & put up effort & resources.
Why not go & help your people by going back there & help your people ? I have a strong feeling I know why. Start thinking of what the real situation is.

You give references about refugee intakes,not about actual aid given PER CAPITA,which is the relevant factor.Use some good old commonsense,assuming its available.Australia per capita is a high provider of aid, also of refugee intakes and is a compassionate country in these matters,but it shouldn't get involved in every case where others should take up the primary burden.Why are we providing aid to Indonesia?
The original example given,which is typical of so many;Turkey and Jordan have been forced to accept Syrian refugees in their 100,s of thousands,but this has nothing to do with their intention of providing aid on an ongoing basis.It should also have nothing to do with Western aid,as this mess certainly isn't the fault of the West
Even so they have not been ashamed to ask the international community through the UN to provide aid,even though Turkey is quite a wealthy country.
Is there any reason why the very wealthy Gulf countries can't provide this aid,instead of continuously bludging off the Western countries of different religions,who in their spare time,they attempt to undermine.
They would rather sit on the sidelines and ask the West to sort out their problems when it suits them.Wake up Alan to harsh realities.
The Rohingya situation should be sorted by some compassionate Moslem country,if such exists.
