All we hear from the noalition is Mr Abbott. Doesn't the noalition consist of anyone else. They just leave the blundering to Mr Abbott.
No policy output, and an election in the coming months.
Are we going to be left with, she'l be right work it out as we go.
There is a lull in proceedings from the opposition camp, nothing has come to fruit, it's a failed crop. What to do next, whatever it is we can-not be heard talking politics, and never mention the economy.
Is Mr Abbott dreaming of the golden years, with his hero whispering in his ear.
What we need is some excitement.

579,
The sad side of all this is that once Abbott is in the seat he'll prove you lot wrong but you lot will never muster the integrity & decency to admit that. Rather than let the decent people of Australia have an opportunity to pick up again & get some reward for their efforts, you lot try to ruin his chances of election at all cost in favour of continuing the depressing show Labor is putting on.

I also watched the interview and I thought Sales quite mad.

She kept on asking the same question 'Are you being loose with the truth?' each time expecting Abbott to respond in the affirmative.

It was a performance in stupidity ... by Sales.

I laughed during this article when I read

'We don't engage with those that we disagree with, but rather dismiss them as immoral and illegitimate. We stay cosily within our ideological comfort zones, associating only with those who reinforce our worldview. But when we begin to see things only in the way we would like them to be, and ignore the fact that others will see things differently, we have taken a further step towards political dysfunction.'

I wondered whether the author ever thought to apply this analysis to Sales and her leftie mates in the ABC.
