My research on Iran's Atomic Energy Organisation indicated Iran's interest in nuclear weapons research.

Its interesting the author's own university is the major university assisting Iran's nuclear program. The Isfahan University of Technology (IUT) is closely related to Iran's Atomic Energy Organisation.

The Isfahan campus includes the Nuclear Technology Center and within that the Uranium Conversion Facility http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_facilities_in_Iran#Isfahan involved in Uranium enrichment.

Iranian Google searches detected on what is now my AUSI OSINT website site-meter include:

- November 19, 2006 (IP 217.218.64.202) Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), Tehran, conducted a Google search with key words "nuclear explosion simulation".

- March 4, 2007 (IP 213.176.127.82) from - "Iranian Research Organization" also conducted a Google search with key words "simulation underground nuclear explosion".

- September 9, 2007 (IP 217.218.64.202) AEOI, Tehran Google searched for information on "nuclear weapon effects computer".

- October 24, 2007 (IP 217.218.64.202) AEOI, Tehran, Googled for information on "Nuclear weapon effects computer".

- November 14, 2007 (IP 217.218.64.202) AEOI, Tehran Googled for information on "underground nuclear explosion simulation"

- November 22, 2007 (IP 217.219.18.13) Isfahan University of Technology, Tehran campus, reading information on this blog concerning Indian and Pakistani nuclear missiles.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad unveiled a supercomputer at Isfahan University of Technology in 2011 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isfahan_University_of_Technology#Research_.26_Facilities . A supercomputer has many uses including nuclear explosion simulation. Such simulations demand the speed and capacity of a supercomputer.

Iran has signed the non proliferation treaty, and as such is limited to enriching uranium for peaceful purposes which require no greater than 5% U235. The acceptance of regular inspections is also included in the treaty.

The "West" is requesting that Iran complies with its obligations under the treaty, and is fully within its rights to withhold trade if Iran does not comply.

Threatening to close the straits of Hormuz is sign of desperation. Blocking shipping routes in someone else's territorial waters is an act of war, and given the US 5th fleet stationed in the area, the reaction is likely to be a severe beating, and degradation of Iran's air and sea capability.

No mention of Israel and their 200+ nukes.Why do we suppose that Iran will be more despotic than the USA which has nuked Japan and invaded dozens of countries since WW2?

The Gulf of Tonkin incident which the USA used to attack Nth Vietnam,did not happen.

We warned the USA that Japan was about to attack Pearl Harbour.The USA restricted trade and cut off engery supplies to Japan.Japan had no choice but to go to war.This is what the Western Oligarchs wanted.

Japan had an indpendant banking system free from the Western Debt and was very innovative and productive.This is why Japan was perceived as an enemy.Japan also had imperialist ambitions but this was the job of Western Imperialists.The Western imperialists had more practise and would not be contained.
