We mightn't have agreed with him, but we knew where Bob Brown stood.

I notice Bob Brown was remarkably quiet when Labor were pushing the Malaysian solution.

Bob Brown is a misanthrope and hypocrite. His form of 'naturalism' depends on a degree of selective decadence where self-appointed elitists enjoys the benefits of technological distance from the tyranny of nature while seeking to deprive it for others. Just rank.

He was not quiet on the non-existent Malaysia "solution".

Good lord the way people in this country carry on about a few refugees arriving is astonishing.

The laboral party has no principals, forgets that the rule of law is to protect everyone on the planet and that refugees are human beings.

And the media are as bad.

Today the Australian is whining about 30 Somalis coming on boats - well already this year over 100,000 Somalis have had to flee their homes.

And we whinge about 30.

They are not 'refugees'; they are at best, country shoppers. So, if you can't get that basic fact right you are unlikely to get the rest right.
