Although I have no issue with most of the proposals mentioned in this article, there is one glaring omission that will eventually doom any increase in ecological health. The problem is driven by our refusal to stabilise our human population density in accord with, the lifestyle we live and what the ecosystem supports.(ie Human Plague)
Us humans have a propensity to overbreed and overconsume! There is no God given Right to "Life", that exceeds the carring capacity of an ecosystem, only the collective "responsability" for what happens.
God has given us freedom of choice. Choose badly, we and our environment suffer; choose well, and in a prosperous environment, we die laughing!
